Essence All About Roses Eyeshadow Palette!

De nieuwe collectie van Essence ligt ondertussen al een tijdje in de schappen. Naast helemaal nieuwe producten kregen een aantal een nieuw jasje. Het All About Roses Oogschaduw Palette werd ook wat van looks gewijzigd en blonk al een tijdje in m'n ogen. Vandaag laat ik jullie weten wat ik er van vind. Neem snel een kijkje verder met me... 

Mijn dagelijkse make-up!

Vandaag toon ik jullie eens mijn dagelijkse make-up producten. Ik gebruik er niet zoveel - Al zeg ik het zelf - en ik gebruik eigenlijk vooral deze producten. Het enige wat eens kan veranderen is de lipstick of oogschaduw. Benieuwd? Kijk snel verder!

Kruidvat Shoplog!

Vandaag heb ik weer een shoplog van de Kruidvat voor jullie. Ik was er laatst nog eens omdat mijn dagcrème bijna op is - elk excuus is goed om naar de Kruidvat te gaan ;) - en nam nog een paar andere leuke goodies mee naar huis! Benieuwd? Kijk snel even mee.

Wat is april weer snel voorbij gevlogen! En ja het was een redelijk drukke maand omdat m'n vriend en ik verhuisd zijn. Deze maand zijn we dus veel langs Ikea en Brico geweest en hebben we veel dingen in elkaar gestoken en dozen uitgepakt. Maar beetje bij beetje werd ons nieuwe huisje, onze nieuwe thuis en ik ben er echt blij om! Kijk snel mee naar mijn foto's van deze maand!
Wow, April flew by so quick again! And yes, it has been a pretty busy month because my boyfriend and I moved house. So this month we went to Ikea and Brico a lot and we had to fix a lot of things and unpack boxes. But little by little our new house is becoming our new home and I am so happy with that! Blogmas Day 12 - Essence 'Come To Town' Collection!

De nieuwste limited collectie van Essence ligt al even in de Kruidvat. Ik kom niet zo vaak meer in de Kruidvat, maar gelukkig kon ik nog een paar items van deze leuke kerstcollectie meenemen! Kijk snel mee naar mijn keuze.

The newest limited collection from Essence has been for a little while over at Kruidvat. Since I don't come that often to a Kruidvat anymore, I was happy when I did pass by I could take a couple of nice items from the Christmas collection! Take a look with me at my choices.

Het eerste wat ik meenam was dit leuke nagellaksetje in 01 Naugthy or Nice?. Dit setje bevat een rood-roze en donker paarse kleur en een topcoat met gouden glitters. Dit setje kan ook als stockingfiller dienen, of gewoon als een klein, extra kerstcadeautje!

The first item I took with me was this cute nailpolish set in 01 Naughty or Nice?. It has a red-pink and dark purple color and a top coat with golden glitters. It can be used as a stocking filler or just as a small, extra Christmas present!

Tot half oktober kan je de nieuwe limited collectie 'Hello Autumn' in de Kruidvat vinden. De collectie staat helemaal in thema van de herfst en ik ben al zeker fan van alle herfsttinten die hierin verwerkt werden!

Hello Budget! Voor slechts € 3,89 kan je dit prachtig palette krijgen. De kleuren gaan van een lichte beige tint naar een donkere bruine. Alle zes de kleuren hebben een mooie shimmer en ze voelen ook lekker zacht aan.

❤ Lip Cream in C02 Keep Calm & Go For a Walk (€1,99)

Een ander product dat ik meenam van de collectie is deze lip cream. Als het op lip creams aankomt, vind ik die van Essence altijd heel fijn. Op de foto's toont hij wat donkerder van kleur, maar eigenlijk heeft een mooie licht roze tint. Hij heeft een semi-matte finish wat ik ook altijd apprecieer, zo krijg je wel wat glossy lippen, maar toch niet teveel.

Another product I bought from the collection is this lip cream. When it comes to lip creams, I always find the ones from Essence really good. The pictures show the color a little bit darker than it really is, it's actually a beautiful light pink tone. It has a semi-matt finish which I can always appreciate, this way you get glossy lips, but not too much.

De swatches van beide producten zijn gewoon mooi & de pigmentatie is ook heel goed!

Essence - Colour & Go Nailpolishes!

Toen ik laatst in de Kruidvat was, kon ik het me niet laten om een paar nagellakjes mee te nemen. Ik koos twee kleurtjes: 185 Candy Crush & 175 Be Berry Now!

When I was in Kruidvat the other day, I couldn't resist buying a couple of nailpolishes. I choose two colors: 185 Candy Crush & 175 Be Berry Now!

185 Candy Crush is een matte, roze kleur. Dit is voor mij een perfecte roze kleur, wat donkerder, niet té barbieroze. Toch zou ik deze kleur meer in de lente/zomer dragen. 175 Be Berry Now! is dan weer één van die perfecte kleuren voor de herfst. 

185 Candy Crush is a matt, pink color. For me, this is one of those perfect pink colors, it's a little bit darker, not too much like barbie pink. But I would wear this color more in spring/summer.175 Be Berry Now! is one of those perfect colors for fall.

May 2014 Favorites!

Vorige maand deed ik geen post over m'n favorieten omdat ik eigenlijk geen had. Deze maand heb ik er wel een paar, hier zijn ze!

Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel is wat ik nu elke avond en morgend gebruik om m'n gezicht te reinigen. 

Kruidvat White Lily N°26 Eau de Toilette heeft zo'n rijke geur! 

Catrice Ultimate Lash Multimizer Volume Mascara geeft je wimpers een heel mooi volume, zonder dat het klontert. Echt goed voor een budget mascara!

Essence Cookies & Cream Shimmer Pearls in 01 One Sweet Day komt uit één van de limited edities van Essence. Hij is dus jammer genoeg niet meer verkrijgbaar. Maar hij geeft je een subtiele glow én hij reukt zo lekker!

Essence: Colour Flash Volume Mascara!

Een gekende beautytrend voor deze zomer: een gekleure mascara! Ik vond het eerst niet zo mijn ding, een beetje te opvallend. Maar ik gebruikt nu al een tijdje een aubergine kleurige mascara van T. Leclerq op m'n onderste wimpers - toegegeven het is een hele subtiele kleur, maar toch. Daarom wilde ik me eens wagen aan een meer opvallendere kleur. Daarom koos ik voor deze Colour flash volume mascara van Essence in de kleur Miss Louise Turquoise: Een prachtige turkooise kleur. 

I think everybody already knows this beautytrend for upcoming summer: the colored mascara! In the beginning I didn't think it was really my thing. A little bit too much. But for a while I have been using an eggplant colored mascara from T. Leclerq on my bottom lashes - Ok, I know it is a really subtle color, but still. Therefor I wanted to try out a more bold color. So I choose for this Colour flash volume mascara by Essence in the color Miss Louise Turquoise: A beautiful turquoise color.

Het borsteltje bestaat uit haartjes en heeft een gewone, normale vorm. Je gebruikt dit soort mascara's dan ook vooral om een speciaal kleurtje aan je wimpers te geven, niet zo zeer voor meer volume ofzo, ik althans toch niet. Enig nadeel? Hij loopt wat uit naarmate de dag vordert.

The brush has 'hairs' so no silicones and has a normal shape. This type of mascara's are mostly used to get the color, not that much to get more volume or so, or at least I would use them for this reason. Only disappointment? He smudges by the end of the day.

Essence: All-in-one CC Cream!

BB Creams, CC Creams, je ziet niets anders meer tegenwoordig! Eerlijk, dit is de eerste CC cream dat ik uitprobeer. Gewoon omdat ik trouw ben aan de BB creams / foundations dat ik al heb. Zodus eindelijk is het zover en ik probeer ik een CC cream uit! CC staat voor Color Correcting, het is dus een getinte dagcréme eigenlijk, waardoor je een mooie, egale teint zo krijgen.

BB Creams, CC creams, you don't see anything else these days! To be honest, this is the first CC cream I try out. Simply because I am loyal to the BB creams / foundations I already have. So finally I came round to try this one out! CC stands for Color Correcting, so basically it is a tinted day cream, that will give you a nice and even skin tone!

In de knijptube heb je zo'n 30ml product en de CC cream komt slechts in één kleur 10 Natural. De kleur ziet er op het eerste zicht uit alsof hij m'n huidskleur niet zou matchen, maar eens je hem inwerkt ziet het er heel natuurlijk uit.

In the squeeze tube you get about 30ml of cream and it only comes in one color 10 Natural. At first I would think this color would never match my skin color, but once you work it in good, it looks very natural.

Zoals je ziet op de tweede foto is de cream best waterig, maar toch dekt hij redelijk goed. Hoewel ik de kleur, dekking, etc. super vind van deze CC cream, komt m'n droge T-zone na een tijd weer naar boven.

As you can see on the second picture, the cream is kind of watery, but he covers up pretty well. Although I love the color, cover-up, etc. a lot from this CC cream, it does show my dry T-zone after a while again.
