Leopard NOTD!

Vandaag heb ik weer een NOTD voor jullie! Al lange tijd wilde ik eens een leopard nailart maken en dat heb ik nu eens gedaan! Ik vind hem echt super! Als basiskleur koos ik Sally Hansen's '130 Gilty Party', een prachtige roosgouden kleur met subtiele rode glittertjes. Om het leopardpatroon te maken koos ik een zwarte kleur, dit komt volgens mij het mooiste uit op de roosgouden kleur. Enjoy!

Today I have another NOTD for you! For the longest time I wanted to make a leopard nailart and today I finally did it! I really love it! As a basecolor I choose Sally Hansen's '130 Gilty Party', a beautiful rose gold color with subtle red glitters. To create the leopard design I choose a black color, which I think looks the nicest with the rosegold. Enjoy!

NailFriday #03: Floral Lilac!

Ik zag een soortgelijke nailart op Pinterest en was gewoon op slag verliefd op de kleurcombinatie! Ik kan uren rondkijken op Pinterest, niet enkel voor ideetjes voor nieuwe NOTD's, maar ook om leuke kleurencombinaties te vinden. En deze NOTD is dan ook een resultaat van een zondagmiddag rondkijken op Pinterest!

I saw a similar nailart on Pinterest and was instantly in love with the color combination! I can really browse for hours on Pinterest, not only to get ideas for new NOTD's, but also to find nice color combinations. And so this NOTD is the result of a Sunday afternoon browsing around Pinterest!

Sally Hansen & O.P.I. nailpolish!

Vorige maand zei ik al dat je Sally Hansen nu kan vinden in de Action voor slechts € 2,49. Toen ik er terug was zag ik weer een paar andere leuke kleurtjes én ook deze shatter nagellak van O.P.I..

Last month I already mentioned that you could find Sally Hansen nail polish at Action for only € 2,49. When I was there again I saw some other nice colors and also this shatter nail polish from O.P.I..

Gilty Party is denk ik één van m'n favorieten. Het is zo'n prachtig metaalkleurtje! En hij heeft super kleine rode glittertjes erin. Resurrection is een blauw-grijze kleur, wat ik persoonlijk meer een herfst kleurtje vind. Ik ben al langer op zoek naar een mooie warm gele kleur, en deze vond ik in Butterscotch. Silver Shatter is dan een zilver kleurige nagellak die 'shattered'. Als onderkleur heb ik hier gekozen voor Essie's St. Tropez.

Gilty Party is one of my favorites. It is such a gorgeous metal color! And it also has tiny tiny red specks in it. Resurrection is more of a blue-greyish tone. Personally I would wear this more for fall. I have been searching for a warm yellow color for a while now, and I found the perfect one in the color Butterscotch. Silver Shatter is a silver colored nailpolish that will shatter. As base color I choose for Essie's St. Tropez.

Eerlijk gezegd is dit de eerste keer dat ik nagellak van Sally Hansen kocht. Ik probeerde wel al eerder de nail stickers (die super zijn btw). Toen ik zag dat de Action ze nu verkocht, had ik echt dat -Oh my god, echt?- gevoel. Zeker als je weet dat je  slechts € 2,49 betaald.

To be honest, it is the first time I'm trying a nailpolish by Sally Hansen. I did try there nail stickers (which are amazing by the way) before. When I saw Action sold them now, I really had an - Oh my God, for real?- feeling.Especially knowing you will only pay € 2,49 for one.

De flesjes zien er ook leuk, stevig en groot uit. Elk flesje bevat 14,7ml nagellak. Het borsteltje is niet te dik, maar ook niet te dun. Dus je kan precies te werk gaan!

The bottles also look cute and big. Every bottle contains 14,7ml of nailpolish. The brush isn't too thick, but also not too thin. So you can work really precise with it.

Ik koos enkel twee kleurtjes (waar ik nu al wat spijt van heb, had er liever meer genomen). 170 Clear'd for Takeoff is een doorzichtige nagellak, wat ik eigelijk als topcoat wil uitproberen. 540 Jaded daarentegen is een leuk mint kleurtje, wat gewoon een super kleur blijft voor de zomer!

I only choose two colors (which I already regret, I wish I took a couple more). 170 Clear'd for  Takeoff is a transparent nail polish, which I want to try as a top coat. 540 Jaded on the other hand is a beautiful mint color, which will always be an amazing color for summer!

Voor dit kleurtje moest ik 3 lagen aanbrengen, hij is redelijk doorzichtig. Maar on the bright side, hij droogt wel tamelijk snel!

For this color I had to apply three layers, it is quiet transparent. But on the bright side, the nailpolish dries kind of quick!

It is that time of the month again - My monthly favorites! I think these posts has to be one of my favorite ones to put. I love seeing other peoples favorites as well because I think it is a great way to find out new (or maybe even old) products.

NOTD: Pastel Flowers

 

Nail strips always look amazing, but they also look amazing when only used as an accent on one finger. This is what I tried today and I love the end result!

 

Nagelstrips zien er altijd zo leuk uit, maar ze zien er ook leuk uit wanneer je ze enkel op één vinger gebruikt. Dit is wat ik dan ook probeerde vandaag en ik hou van het eindresultaat!



For this NOTD I used Essie's Mint Candy Apple as the main colour on all my fingers except my ring finger. I think this is such an amazing colour for summer that look really great with the flowers. On my ring finger I used Sally Hansen salon effect nail polish strips in 340 Girl Flower. The look so cute and girly and apply really easily! Every little box comes with 16 nail polish strips, a cuticle stick and a mine file & buffer.

 

Voor deze NOTD maakte ik gebruik van Essie's Mint Candy Apple als basiskleur. Dit is een prachtige kleur en is perfect voor de zomer. Ook vond ik dat hij mooi samen paste met de nagelstickers. Op mijn ringvinger gebruikte ik Sally Hansen salon effect nail polish strips in 340 Girl Flower. Ze zien er zo schattig en vrouwelijk uit én ze zijn super makkelijk aan te brengen! Elk boxje komt met 16 nail polish strips, een bokkepoot en een mini vijl & buffer.
