E.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipstick

These things are one of my favourite lip products.This liquid lipstick has more the consistency of a gloss, without being sticky like some lip glosses are. It has a twist up system to get the product out and which makes it also easy to apply on the lips.

Dit zijn één van mijn  favoriete lip producten. Deze liquid lipstick lijkt meer op een lip gloss, zonder plakkerig aan te voelen zoals sommige lip glosses. Hij heeft een twist systeem om het product eruit te krijgen, wat het ook makkelijk maakt om deze liquid lipstick aan te brengen.

I got three colours: Strawberry which is a warm red colour, Ruby slipper is little bit darker and has a golden shimmer to it and Cherry tart which is a nice dark red.

 

Ik heb hem in drie kleuren: Strawberry heeft een warme rode kleur, Ruby slipper is een beetje donkerder en heeft een gouden shimmer en Cherry tart is een donker rode kleur.

My favorite blushes!

 

Before I always stick with one blush if the color looks good on my skin, but lately I have been trying out different colors and brands. Therefor I wanted to share my favorite blushes of the moment with you guys!

 

Wanneer ik vroeger een blush goed vond, bleef ik deze constant gebruiken, maar de laatste tijd begin ik verschillende kleuren en merken uit te proberen. Daarom wou ik graag mijn favoriete blushes met jullie delen!

 

 

1. Catrice Lip and cheek colour from the limited edition Neo geisha in Picked Cherry Blossoms: as the name says it can be used on your lips and cheeks. Therefor it also has a creamy consistency and can be applied by using your fingers. This may look a little bit scary, but it's surprisingly easy! Also it has a really bright pink colour so a little goes a long way!

 

2. E.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing powder in Blushed/bronzed: this blush has a nice peachy color and is a really subtle blush. It's great to used when your already used bright colours on the eyes or lips. 

 

3. Sleek blush by 3 in Lace: the first color I love from this palette is Crochet which is a beautiful orange blush. And the second one is Guipure which is a beautiful rose gold colour. Crochet gives your look a nice warmth to it and Guipure gives you the most beautiful golden glow!

 

4. E.l.f. Baked Blush in peachy cheeky: this is also a rose gold blush but this one is more subtle than the one from Sleek!

Hierdoor heeft hij een romige consistentie en kan je hem gewoon aanbrengen met je vingers. 2. E.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing powder in Blushed/bronzed: Dit is een mooie peachy kleur en hij is ook enorm subtiel op je wangen. Hij is perfect te gebruiken wanneer je felle kleuren gebruikt als oogschaduw of lipstick!

 

3. Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace: het eerste kleurtje waar ik van hou is Crochet en dit is zo'n prachtige oranje kleur! Het tweede is Guipure wat een mooie rose gold kleur is. Crochet geeft je look meer warmte en Guipure geeft je een prachtige gouden glans!

 

4. E.l.f. Baked Blush in Peachy Cheeky: dit is ook een rose gold kleurtje, maar hij is subtieler dan die van Sleek!

How to: Ombré Lips

 

It all started with Ombré hair, but these days you see Ombré everywhere! Wether it's in the clothes or on your nails, but recently I've seen a picture of 'Ombré Lips' and I really liked the look of it, so I recreated it. The nice thing about it is that you can choose which colors you work with. I choose to work with red and gold, because I had to go to a wedding and I thought it suits nice as a 'party look'. But you can also do it with a dark and light red, or even with nude colors!

 

Het begon allemaal met Ombré haar, maar nu zie je ombré echt overal! Of het nu in de kledij is of je nailart! Laatst zag ik een foto van 'Ombré lips' en ik vond het er zo leuk uitzien dat ik de look ook eens graag wou proberen. Het leuke eraan is dat je zelf kan kiezen met welke kleuren je te werk gaat. Ik koos voor een rode lip met gouden touch omdat ik naar een huwelijksfeest ging, en ik vond dit de perfecte 'party look'. Maar je kan deze leuk ook recreëren met bijvoorbeeld een lichte en donker rode kleur, of zelfs met nude kleurtjes!

 

1. The products I used where Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick in Cherry Blossom and E.l.f.'s shimmering highlight in Golden Peach.

2. First you start of with the color you'd like to be all over your lip, for this step I choose the red color!

3. For the next step you can also choose a different lipstick and apply it with a lip brush. But I had this golden colored highlight and thought it would be perfect for this look! You only need a little bit of the product and you can use your hand as a palette. Just use your fingers and dap the highlight in the middle of your lips to create a nice golden touch!

1. De producten die ik gebruikte waren Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick in Cherry Blossom en E.l.f.'s shimmering highlight in Golden Peach.

2. Eerst start je met de kleur die je graag over gans je lippen wilt, ik koos hiervoor de rode kleur!

3. Voor de laatste stap kan je ook een andere lipstick gebruiken en de kleur op je lippen aanbrengen met een lip brush. Maar ik koos voor de laatste stap om een goudkleurige highlight te gebruiken. Je moet slechts een beetje van het product gebruiken en je kan je hand als palette gebruiken. Gebruik je vingers om de gouden kleur lichtjes in het midden van je lippen aan te brengen!

E.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Blushed/Bronzed

 

I love E.l.f. products alot because the quality is great and it's a really affordable brand! I love the idea of a blush and bronzer in one palette because that way you have two products in one which makes it also perfect if you have to travel!

 

Ik hou van de E.l.f. producten omdat ze een goede kwaliteit leveren en ze zijn goed betaalbaar! Ik hou ook van het idee van een blush en bronzer in één palette omdat je zo twee producten in één hebt, wat het ook meteen perfect maakt indien je op reis gaat!

 

 

The color Blushed/bronzed is so nice. The colors are not too dark but perfect for my skintone! The blush us a nice subtle coral color with a rose gold shine in it and the bronzer is just a nice brown color. As you can see on the swatches the pigmentation is also amazing!

 

De kleur Blushed/bronzed is zo'n leuke kleur omdat ze niet te donker zijn en perfect bij mijn huidskleur passen! De blush is een subtiele koraalkleur met een rose gold shine erin en de bronzer is gewoon een mooie bruine kleur! Zoals je ook op de swatches kan zien is de pigmentatie super!

E.l.f. Stipple Brush

 
So this is e.l.f.'s stipple brush from it's studio line. I use it to apply my foundation and I must say I really like it!

Dit is e.l.f.'s stipple brush van de studio lijn. Ik gebruik hem om mijn foundation aan te brengen en ik vind het echt leuk om ermee te werken!

This brush is made of synthetic hairs and can be used to apply liquid as wel as powder products. It's perfect to apply foundation, blush or bronzer!
This is probably one of the softest brushes I own at the moment, so it's perfect to put on your foundation! I don't know, I also like the way it looks, it looks so beautiful! It only costs € 4 so it's a really affordable good brush!

Deze brush is gemaakt van synthetische haartjes en kan gebruikt worden om vloeibare - en poederproducten aan te brengen. Hij is perfect om foundation, blush of bronzer aan te brengen!
Dit is waarschijnlijk één van de zachtste brushes die ik nu heb, daarom is hij ook perfect om foundation aan te brengen! En ik weet niet, maar hij ziet er ook zo mooi uit! Hij kost slechts € 4, wat het een betaalbare én goede brush maakt!

March Favorites 2013

 

1. Catrice Eyebrow lifter "Cassablanca Highlights" (Limited Edition: Hollywoods Fabulous 40ties). I actually use this in the inner corner of my eyes. It's a soft nude pink color which really brightens up my eyes.

2. E.l.f. Eyelid primer "Champagne"

3. Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express mascara

4. Vaseline Lip therapy "Aloe Vera" I didn't use this the whole month, but it's in my favorites because in the beginning of the month my lips were broken. I used this lip jelly and the next day my lips were already alot better!

5. L'Oréal Top coat "Confettis" I put an NOTD if this top coat where I paired it together with a pinkish red color. I absolutelly loved the combo of both and I had a lot of compliments on the top coat!

6. Urban Decay Naked palette. I have been loving the black color Creep as an eye liner. And Sidecar (which is the 4th color on the palette) on my eyelid.

7. Catrice Eyeshadow "Venus vs. Mars" is just a gorgeous color which I used on top of Urban Dacay's "Sidecar"!

8. NYC Expert Last Lip Color "Sugar Plum"

9. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter "Macaroon"

10. The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream for very dry skin

11. Lush Lipscrub "Mint Julips"

The jumbo lipgloss sticks from e.l.f. are amazing! They are really moisturizing and nice to apply on. The sticks have the perfect combination from being sheer and being pigmented in my opinion!

I was excited to try out the lip exfoliater but I must say I don't like it at all. For me it's just too rough on my lips. However it has an amazing smell!

 

Ik wou enorm graag de lip exfoliater uitproberen, maar deze vind ik toch niet leuk. Voor mij is hij een beetje te hard op mijn lippen. Maar hij ruikt wel super!
