Garnier 'Under the shower' Body Lotion

Garnier kwam niet alleen uit met nieuwe make-up removers, maar nu hebben ze ook nieuwe body lotions. Er waren al andere merken zoals Nivea die met een 'onder de douche' body lotion op de markt kwamen. Maar ik was nooit echt geïnteresseerd. Bij Nivea was het vooral omdat ze niet echt lekkere geuren aan hun lichaamsproducten geven. Maar toen ik zag dat Garnier er met deze was, was ik opeens heel geïnteresseerd. Dus laat ik jullie nu m'n nieuwe best friend voorstellen!

Not only did Garnier come out with new make-up removers, but now there is also a new body lotion. Other brands like Nivea already had a body lotion you could use under the shower, but I was never really interested. Mainly because Nivea does not really have fragrances to their body products. But now I saw Garnier came out with these babies and I suddenly was interested. So let me introduce you to my new best friend.

Als je net als mij soms wat lui bent om na het douchen een body lotion te gebruiken, is dit dé oplossing. Hij is snel en makkelijk in gebruik. Je gebruikt hem na je shower gel en hij hoeft niet in te trekken, je kan hem gelijk weer afspoelen. In het begin is het een beetje wennen, maar je word het wel snel gewoon. En hierdoor gebruik ik echt elke dag een bodylotion, waardoor m'n huid stukken beter aanvoelt!

If you are just like me, and you're a little bit lazy sometimes to use a body lotion after taken a shower, than this is the solution for you. It is easy and quick to use. You use it after your shower gel and it does not have to sink in your skin, you can rinse it off immediately. In the beginning I had to get used to this product, but once you are it is amazing. Because of this I am using a body lotion every day now, and my skin if feeling much nicer and softer because of it!

Je hebt twee varianten: ylang-ylang voor de normale tot droge huid en monoï voor de droge tot zeer droge huid. 

You have to variates: ylang-ylang for the normal to dry skin and monoï for the dry to very dry skin.

De body lotion is een vrij dikke en zachte créme. Verder heeft de monoï versie een lekkere, zoete geur die niet te sterk is. 

The body lotion is a rather thick but soft cream. The monoï has a nice sweet fragrance that is not too strong.

Valentine DIY #03: Dino Love

Ik zag een foto van een dinosaurus zoals deze op Pinterest en vond het zo leuk dat ik er zelf één wou maken. En het is echt heel makkelijk!

I saw a picture of a dinosaur like this one on Pinterest and liked it so much that I wanted to make one myself. And it is really easy to do!

💖 Wat heb je nodig: Lijm, Een schaar, Gouden spraypaint, Vilt, Een dinosaurus en plastiek zakken (of iets anders waarmee je de tafel kan bedekken).

💖 What you will need: Glue, A scissor, Gold spraypaint, Felt, A dinosaur and plastic bags (or anything else you can use to cover up the table).

Stap 1: Bedek de tafel waarop je gaat werken goed.

Dit is echt belangrijk (en ook wat logisch vind ik). Ik knipte gewoon een paar zakken door, maar je kan evengoed krantenpapier of een oud tafellaken gebruiken.

Step 1: Cover up the table you will work on.

This is really important (and also a little bit logic I think). I just cut a couple of bags, but you can also use a newspaper or an old table-cloth.

Stap 2: Spraypaint de dinosaurus!

Dit vond ik eigenlijk de leukste stap. Gebruik de gouden spraypaint om een eerste laag te zetten op de dinosaurus. Terwijl je de eerste laag laat drogen, kan je de volgende stap al uitvoeren alvorens een tweede laag erop te zetten.

Step 2: Spraypaint the dinosaur!

I liked this step the most. Use the golden spraypaint to spray a first coat on the dinosaur. While the first coat is drying you can already start the next step. When it is dried it is better to apply a second coat.

Stap 3: Knip hartjes uit de vilt en plak ze aan elkaar.

Knip hartjes uit de vilt, deze hoeven niet dezelfde grootte te zijn. Hierna gebruik je de lijm om ze aan elkaar te lijmen.

Step 3: Cut hearts out of the felt and stick them together.

Cut hearts out of the felt, these ones do not have to be the same size. Use the glue to glue them together.

Valentine NOTD #02: Love Scrabble

Deze volgende Valentine NOTD dat ik deed is geïnspireerd door Scrabble. Omdat het altijd rood en roze is voor Valentijn koos ik er ook voor om eens andere kleurtjes te gebruiken. 

This next Valentine NOTD got inspired by Scrabble. Because the colors for Valentine are always red or pink, I choose to use some different colors.

Deze Barry M nailart pennen hielpen mij echt om de letters te schrijven en de kleine hartjes te tekenen. Echt zo makkelijk te gebruiken!

These Barry M nailart pens really helped a lot to write the letters and draw the little hearts. Really easy to use!

Valentine DIY #02: Cupid's Arrows

Iets wat gewoon bij Valentijn hoort is Cupido. Ik vond dit leuke potje in de Action en vond het gewoon perfect om Cupido's pijlen erin te stoppen!

Something that just matches with Valentine is Cupido. I found this cute jar in Action and I thought it would be perfect to put Cupid's arrows inside!

💘 Wat je nodig hebt: Tape, Lijm, Satéstokjes, Vilt (Roze & rode) en witte veren.

💘 What you will need: Tape, Glue, Sticks, Felt (Pink & Red) and white feathers.

Stap 1: Knip hartjes uit de vilt en plak deze aan de satéstok.

Het is het makkelijkste om één hartje te tekenen en uit te knippen. Gebruik hierna dit hartje om alle andere te tekenen op de vilt. Zo hebben ze allemaal dezelfde grootte. 

Wanneer je alle hartjes geknipt hebt, kan je ze met de lijm op elkaar plakken en hiertussen het satéstokje houden.

Step 1: Cut heart from the felt and glue them to the stick.

It is the easiest to draw one heart first and cut this one out. Then use this heart to draw all the other hearts. This way they all are the same size.

When you cut out all the hearts, you can glue them together and hold the stick in between.

Stap 2: Tape de veren aan het andere uiteinde van de satéstokjes.

Je kan er ook voor kiezen om uit de vilt het uiteinde voor de pijl te knippen, maar ik vond het effect van een veer leuker. Gebruik de tape om de veer vast te plakken. 

Step 2: Tape the feather to the other side from the stick.

You can also choose to cute the ends of the arrow out of the felt, but I found the effect of a feather much nicer. Use the tape to stick the feather to the stick.

New Garnier Make-up Removers

Om de één of andere reden ben ik meer en meer into make-up removers. Vroeger zou ik een nieuwe enkel uitproberen als ik er echt één nodig had. Nu ben ik excited als ik zie dat er een nieuwe uit is. Weird of niet?

For some reason I am getting more and more into make-up removers. Whereas before I would try new ones out if I was in need of one, now I get really excited when I see there are new ones. Weird huh?

Garnier Micellair Cleansing Water for sensitive skin - € 6,49

Ik heb zo het gevoel dat er dit jaar veel merken gaan uitkomen met een micellair reinigingswater (net als die van Bioderma). En maar goed ook! Het reinigingswater van Bioderma is echt super maar niet zo goedkoop. Deze van Garnier komt in een flesje van 400 ml en kost slechts € 6,49.

Het leuke aan zo'n reinigingswater is dat je al je make-up ermee kan verwijderen, het is dus snel & makkelijk. Eerlijk gezegd was ik een beetje bang om deze uit te proberen. Ik had al eerder eentje van L'Oréal uitgeprobeert, maar die was niet zo goed voor m'n huid. Maar deze van Garnier vind ik wel leuk! Hij is zacht & reinigt snel en goed.

I have a feeling a lot of brands will come out with a miccelair cleansing water (just like the one from Bioderma). And I think that is a good thing!The cleansing water  from Bioderma is amazing but also a bit pricy. This Garnier one comes in a bottle of 400 ml and costs € 6,49.

The cool thing about these cleansing waters is that you can use it to remove all of your makeup. So it is quick and easy! To be honest I was a little bit scared to try this one out at first. Just because I tried out the one from L'oréal and it broke out my skin after a while. But this one from Garnier I actually really like! It is soft and cleanses quick and good. And most important it does not break me out!

Soft eye make-up remover - € 4,59

Deze oogreinigingslotion is speciaal voor de gevoelige huid, hij zou dus heel mild en fijn moeten aanvoelen. Ik heb echt gevoelige ogen, vaak wanneer ik een oogreiniger gebruik, gaan mijn ogen beginnen prikken. Ik gebruik deze oogreinigingslotion nu al zo'n twee weken en hij is inderdaad zeer mild. M'n ogen begonnen slechts één keer te prikken, maar ik denk dat dit ook kwam doordat ik teveel van het product had aangebracht.

This eye cleansing lotion is made specially for the sensitive skin, so it should be very soft and feel really nice. I do have really sensitive eyes, so many times when I start using an eye make-up cleanser, my eyes start to hurt. I have been using this cleansing lotion for about two weeks and it is a really soft one. My eyes started to hurt only one time, but I do think that also came because I used to much of the product.
