Blogmas Day 1: New Layout!

Hey allemaal! Vandaag wil ik jullie voorstellen aan Blogmas! Ik denk dat de meesten onder jullie weten wat 'Vlogmas' is. Als je het toch niet weet, het is eigenlijk iets wat vele youtubers doen, ze uploaden elke dag een nieuwe video (meer - follow me today - type) in december. Vandaag zag ik een paar bloggers die begonnen met iets wat ze 'Blogmas' noemen. Omdat ik echt enorm veel hou van kerst en alles wat er mee te maken heeft, wou ik dit ook heel graag doen. Zodus kan je elke dag een nieuwe post verwachten!

Vandaag begin ik eigenlijk gewoon met m'n nieuwe layout. Eerst en vooral moet je weten dat ik echt obsessed ben geworden met het kopen van kerstdecoratie. Dus ik was naar mijn blog aan het kijken en ik dacht - hé waarom deze niet een kleine kerst make-over geven? Zodus hier is hij... Jamelle - Kersteditie. Hopelijk vinden jullie hem leuk!

Hey guys! Today, I want to introduce you guys a little bit to my Blogmas! I think most of you will now 'Vlogmas' which a lot of youtubers traditionally do in december. If you don't know what vlogmas is, youtubers upload every day a new video for the month of december. Today I saw a couple of bloggers are starting something called 'Blogmas'. Since I absolutely love christmas time and everything around it, I decided to do this as well. So you can expect a new blogpost every day! 

Today I'm starting with talking about my newest layout! First off all you need to know I'm obsessed with buying christmas decorations. So when I was looking at my older layout, I was like - Why not give this a nice christmas touch? So here it is... Jamelle - Christmas edition! Hope you like it!

Ik besef nu pas dat het een hele tijd geleden is sinds ik mijn laatste wishlist poste. Daarom ga ik er deze maand drie doen! Deze eerste, een beauty wishlist. En later zal ik nog een fashion wishlist & christmas wishlist posten!

Essence "Metal Glam" Eyeshadow

Ik ga eerlijk zijn. Ik koop niet al te vaak mono eyeshadows, gewoon omdat ik liever palletes of quatros koop omdat deze je meer kleuren bieden. Maar toen ik deze Metal Glam Eyeshadows zag, wou ik er toch eentje proberen. Ik koos voor de kleur Glamour Girls, een zilveren kleur. Andere kleuren die beschikbaar zijn: Steel-ing the scene (een bronskleurtje), Petal to the metal (een lila kleur) & Golden eye (een gouden kleur)

I'm gonna be honest. I don't buy mono eyeshadows that often, I just prefer palettes or quatros because they offer you more colours. But when I saw these metal glam eyeshadows I just wanted to give them a go. I choose the colour Glamour Girls, a silver colour. Other colours that are available: Steel-ing the scene (a bronzy colour), Petal to the metal (a lilac colour) & Golden eye (A gold colour).

De kleur ziet er echt prachtig uit in de verpakking, en ik vind de verpakking zelf ook wel leuk. Maar toch ben ik wat teleurgesteld met deze oogschaduw. Als je hem swatched, geeft hij niet echt de prachtige kleur van in de verpakking af. Hij heeft meer een goudachtige kleur vind ik. Bovendien is de pigmentatie ook niet super. Om de swatch te doen die je hier op de foto ziet, moest ik echt veel van de oogschaduw aanbrengen zodat de kleur ervan toch goed zichtbaar was.

Although the colour looks amazing in the packaging and I also like the packaging, I'm a little bit disappointed with this eyeshadow. It doesn't apply as the silver colour you see in the packaging. It has more of a golden touch to it. And the pigmentation isn't all that great. To do the swatch I had to apply a lot of the eyeshadow so the colour would be good visible on the picture.

Catrice "Thrilling Me Softly" Wet Shine Stain

Een laatste product dat ik kocht van de Thrilling Me Softly collectie is de Wet Shine Stain in de kleur Innocent, een prachtige roze kleur. Hiernaast zijn er nog twee kleuren beschikbaar: Thrilling (Een mooie rode kleur) & Fatal (Een leuke burgundy kleur).

Another product I bought from the Thrilling Me Softly collection is the Wet Shine Stain in the colour Innocent, which is a beautiful pink colour. There are two other colours available: Thrilling (A pretty red) & Fatal (A nice burgundy colour).

Deze stain is heel makkelijk aan te brengen en voelt ook goed en hydraterend voor de lippen. Hij blijft ook goed zitten vind ik. Ik gebruik deze lip stain nu al een tijdje en ik hou echt van hem! Hij ziet er erg natuurlijk uit op de lippen, wat hem perfect maakt voor een dagelijkse look!

This stain applies really easily and feels really nice and moisturizing. The stain also stays on really well. I have been using this lip stain for a while now and I'm really loving it. It looks really natural on the lips, which makes it perfect for an everyday look!

Deauty Box: November 2013

Het einde van de maand is weer in zich dus dat wil zeggen dat het weer tijd is voor een nieuwe Deauty box! Eerlijk gezegd was ik wel blij dat de box deze keer geen thema had.

It is the ending of the month so it is time again for a new Deauty box! To be honest, I was actually happy it wasn't a themed box this time!

Ik ben eigenlijk toch redelijk tevreden met deze box. Niet super blij ermee, maar toch. M'n favoriete product is de dagcrème van Rainpharma, hij heeft zulke dikke, hydraterende structuur die goed zal zijn voor mijn droge huid - Hoop ik. Ik vind de valse wimpers ook wel leuk, ookal draag ik er nooit, maar het is wel eens leuk om uit te proberen.

I'm pretty happy with this months box. I'm not overly excited but still. I think my favourite product is the daycream from Rainpharma, simply because it has such a thick, moisturising texture which I hope will be good for my dry skin. I also like the lashes, although I never wear fake lashes, but it will be nice to try out for once.
