Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balm *New*

These Pure Shine Colour Lip Balms by Catrice are one of the new products that came out for fall 2013. I am always excited to try out products like this!

Deze Pure Shine Colour Lip Balms van Catrice zijn één van hun nieuwste producten dat uitkomt voor de hersft 2013. Ik vind het altijd leuk om producten zoals deze uit te proberen!

I choose two colour to review: Go flamingo go! &  Cherry-ty. Go flamingo go! has a nice peachy colour, but once applied it doesn't have that much colour payoff. Cherry-ty on the other hand has a raspberry colour and does give a bit of colour. But I wish they both had more colour in them. Catrice had in one of their limited editions a pink and red lipproduct like this one, and the red gave so much colour to your lips.

I actually like the packaging because you can see the colour of the product good. It does look like the Bourjois colour boost once though.

Again, like most lip balm 'chubby sticks' I tried out, these are also very easy to apply. If you want more colour payoff you will have to apply the lip balm several times.

However they do not stay on that long, so you will have to re-apply a lot!

Ik koos twee kleurtjes om te reviewen: Go flamingo go! &  Cherry-ty. Go Flamingo go! heeft een mooi perzikken kleur, maar eens je hem aanbrengt geeft hij bijna geen kleur af. Cherry-ty heeft dan weer een frambozen kleur en geeft toch ietes meer kleur af. Toch wou ik dat ze meer kleur afgaven. Catrice had in één van hun limited edities een roze en rood lipproduct zoals deze, en de rode gaf zoveel kleur aan je lippen.

Ik vind de verpakking dan weer wel leuk omdat je zo kan zien welke kleur hij heeft. Hij lijkt wel enorm veel op de Bourjois Color Boost!

Zoals de meeste lip balm 'chubby sticks' dat ik al probeerde, is deze ook makkelijk aan te brengen. Als je wat meer kleur wilt, zal je hem wel een aantal keer moeten aanbrengen.

Maar wat ik niet zo leuk vind is dat hij niet zo lang blijft zitten, je zal hem vaak opnieuw moeten aanbrengen!

NYC Quickdry Nailpolish *Blue Sky*

Lately I have been loving blue nailpolish. At the moment it's mainly dark blues, since fall is coming up. But this light blue is a perfect summer colour! Or even a perfect colour on those warm sunny days (which we had last week).

De laatste tijd heb ik het echt voor blauwe nagellakken. Nu zijn het vooral donker blauwe kleuren, omdat de herfst er aan zit te komen. Maar dit licht blauw kleurtje is perfect voor de zomer! Of zelfs gewoon perfect op die zonnige, warme dagen (die we vorige week nog hadden).

I'm a big fan of NYC's nailpolishes. I really like the packaging, the nailpolish is so easy to apply and they dry very quick! This colour is called Blue Sky. Is has slightly a green tone to it, but once you have applied it and it has dried it becomes this beautiful baby blue turquoise. It is an amazing colour and looks similar to the oh-so-famous blue colour from Tiffany & co.

Ik ben echt een grote fan van NYC's nagellakken! Ik hou van de verpakking, de nagellak is erg makkelijk aan te brengen en ze drogen enorm snel! Deze kleur noemt Blue Sky. Hij heeft een beetje een groene toon, maar eens je hem aanbrengt en hij droog is, heeft hij een mooie baby blauwe, turqouise kleurtje. Het is zo'n prachtig kleurtje en hij lijkt op de oh-zo-beroemde blauwe kleur van Tiffany & co.

Essence Long Lasting Lipstick *New Colours*

Essence came out with 10 new colours of long lasting lipsticks! I tested out 2 of them, but I'm sure I will be going back to the shop and pick up a few more colours.

Er zijn zo'n 10 nieuwe kleurtjes beschikbaar van de long lasting lipsticks van Essence. Ik probeerde er 2 uit, maar ik ben er zeker van dat ik later nog een paar andere kleurtjes ga bijkopen!

Like I said I only got two colours. The first one is On the catwalk, which appears to be a dark red, but once you apply it, it has this nice soft raspberry colour. The second colour I got is Barely There! Now this is my kind of colour when it comes to nude ones! It is a darker nude colour which love love love!

I think the packaging looks simple but nice. I like the touch of colour they did on the outside, so you still can see which colour is which. The lipsticks feel soft and hydrating and are really easy to apply.

I had never bought an Essence lipstick before, because I just didn't like the colours before, or they had glitters in it or a shimmer I didn't like. But I have to say, these new colours they came out with are just amazing! 

Zoals ik al zei heb ik enkel twee kleurtjes gekocht. Het eerste is On the Catwalk, wat eerst een donker rode kleur lijkt te zijn, maar eens je hem aanbrengt heeft hij een leuke, zachte frambozenkleurtje. De tweede kleur is Barely There! Nu, als het op nude lipsticks aankomt, is deze kleur echt iets voor mij! Hij heeft een donkerdere nude kleur waar ik gewoon van hou!

De verpakking ziet er simpel maar leuk uit. De gekleurde ring rondom de zwarte omhulsing, is super zodat je nog altijd de kleur kan zien. De lipsticks voelen zacht en hydraterend aan en zijn echt makkelijk aan te brengen hierdoor.

Ik had nog nooit een lipstick van Essence gekocht omdat ik de kleuren ervoor niet zo leuk vond, of omdat er van die glitters of shimmer inzat. Maar deze nieuwe kleurtjes waarmee ze uitkwamen zijn echt super leuk! En voor zo'n prijs kan je ook niet sukkelen.
