Birchbox ❤ February!

 

Vandaag een snel artikel waarin ik jullie toon wat ik deze maand in m'n Birchbox kreeg. Het doosje zag er alvast heel mooi uit langs de buitenkant, volgens mij een speciale editie voor Valentijn (Ik kreeg m'n Birchbox dan ook de dag voor Valentijn). Er zaten ook een aantal make-up producten tussen wat me altijd blij maakt! Kijk snel mee...

Today a quick article in which I show you what I received in my Birchbox this month. The box the products came in already looked so pretty on the outside, I think it was a special edition for Valentine's day (I received my Birchbox the day before Valentine's). There were also a couple of make-up products in it which always makes me happy! Take a look with me...

Ik ben echt blij met m'n Birchbox deze maand, vooral door de make-up producten. Het oogpotlood van Lollipops ziet er alleen al zo mooi uit! Echt prachtige verpakking. Met het bronzer duo van Jelly Pong Pong heb ik een beetje een love-hate relatie. De kleuren zijn zo prachtig vind ik, maar zelf zou ik het nooit kopen. Waarom? Wel, € 19 voor zo'n kleine bronzer duo vind ik wat veel.

De pafum olie van Pura Bali is m'n eerste parfum olie. Best wel interessant om eens te proberen en oh my god wat ruikt deze lekker! 

I am really happy with my Birchbox this month, mainly because of the make-up products. The eye pencil from Lollipops looks soo adorable! Really gorgeous packaging. With the bronzer duo from Jelly Pong Pong I have a love-hate relation. The colors are amazing, but I would never buy it myself. Why? Well, € 19 for such a little bronzer duo is a lot I think.

The perfum oil by Pura Bali is actually my first perfume oil. So I can't wait to try this for a while and oh my god it has such an amazing scent!

Cien Lipsticks *New Spring Colors*!

Cien is het make-up merk van de Lidl, en ik moet toegeven dat me dit in het begin een beetje afschrikte - Ik dacht dat de kwaliteit er niet zo goed van zou zijn. Maar uiteindelijk probeerde ik toch een lipstick en later een lipbalm en was ik hier best tevreden mee! Daarom kon ik ook geen nee zeggen toen ik de kans kreeg om de nieuwe lentekleurtjes uit te testen. Vandaag begin ik met de lipsticks aan jullie te tonen!

Cien is the make-up brand from Lidl, and I have to admit that this scared me a little bit in the beginning - I thought the quality from the products wouldn't be all that. But eventually I tried out a lipstick and later a lipbalm and I really liked them! Therefor I couldn't say no when I was offered the chance to try out the new spring colors. So today I start off with showing you the new colors for the lipsticks!

Toen ik de kleurtjes binnenkreeg waren er twee die me direct opvielen. 36 Matt Rose & 37 Sweet Violet zijn echt 'mijn' kleurtjes! Maar behalve 9 Neon Coral & 24 Perfect Pink vind ik de andere kleurtjes best draagbaar het hele jaar door. 

De verpakking ziet er een beetje cheap uit, maar toch vind ik dat er wel werk van gemaakt is. Zo kan je in het midden de kleur van de lipstick zien én aan de onderkant ook - Dit vind ik persoonlijk heel fijn om ze op te bergen en toch de kleuren makkelijk te kunnen zien. 

De lipsticks voelen ook prettig aan op de lippen en zijn makkelijk aan te brengen! Ik vind het goede lipsticks en ze zijn nog eens budgetproof ook! Wat wil je nog meer?

When I received the colors, there were two of them I noticed instantly. 36 Matt Rose & 37 Sweet Violet are really 'my' colors! But except for 9 Neon Coral & 24 Perfect Pink I think the other colors are wearable all year round.

The packaging looks a little bit cheap, but I do think they did a good job. You can see the colors of the lipstick in the middle and on the bottom also - This I personally love because it is easier to store them and to see which color they are.

The lipsticks feel nice on the lips and are easy to apply. I really like this lipsticks and they are budgetproof as well! What do you want more?

24 Perfect Pink is voor mij dé perfecte flashy roze kleur voor de lente - Cien heeft deze dan ook een goede naam gegeven, haha.

27 Natural Kiss is een mooie nude kleur. Toen ik deze kleur zag, had ik wat bang dat hij wat te flets zou zijn, maar ik vind het resultaat heel erg mooi!

27 Natural Kiss is a pretty nude color. When I first saw this color, I was a little bit scared it would look too faded, but I actually really like this result!

31 Bordeaux vind ik zo'n mooie kleur! Hij is wel wat moeilijker aan te brengen dan de andere, maar het is dan ook een donkere kleur. 

31 Bordeaux is such an amazing color! It is a little bit more tricky to apply this one, but is is a darker color than the others.

32 Red Roses is een leuke rode kleur.

36 Matt Rose is één van m'n favorieten! Dit is een mooi roze kleurtje dat ik iedere dag zou kunnen dragen. Pretty pretty!

37 Sweet Violet is m'n andere favoriet. Ik heb het wel voor de meer paarsige lipsticks, het is eens wat anders en ik vind het heel fijn dat zo een kleurtje ook in de collectie van Cien zit!

37 Sweet Violet is my other favorite. I appreciate a purple lipstick every now and then, it is something different and I really like it that this kind of color found its place in Cien's collection!

MAC ❤ Mineralize Rich Lipstick in Dreaminess

Ok, I have a confession to make. Dit is m'n allereeste product dat ik van MAC kocht. Telkens ik in Antwerpen ben, wil ik naar de MAC store gaan, maar dan zie ik er een heleboel mensen binnen. En om eerlijk te zijn - Kleinere ruimtes met veel mensen erin is niet echt m'n ding, ik voel me gewoon niet lekker dan en daarom skip ik MAC telkens. Maar vorige week bestelde ik gewoon m'n eerste lipstick via hun webshop (Waarom heb ik daar nooit eerder aan gedacht, echt dom).

Ok, I have a confession to make. This is my very first MAC product I have bought. Every time I'm in Antwerp, and I want to go to the MAC store, I see a lot of people inside. And to be honest - Smaller rooms with a lot of people isn't really my thing, I just don't feel good than and therefor I skip MAC every time. But last week I simply ordered my first lipstick through their webshop (Why haven't I ever thought about it, really stupid).

En ik ben helemaal verliefd! Ik koos de kleur Dreaminess dewelke uit de collectie Lightness of Being komt. Het is een heel lief roze kleurtje en wat ik ook zo leuk vind is dat de lipstick zo lekker ruikt, je wilt hem net niet opeten! Verder glijd hij zoals niets over je lippen en voelt hij heel romig en fijn aan. Bovendien blijft hij ook lange tijd mooi zitten - Pluspunt! 

And I am totally in love! I choose the color Dreaminess which comes out of the collection Lightness of Being. It is an adorable pink color and what I also like a lot is that it has such an amazing scent, you just want to eat it! When applying the lipstick it just glides over your lips like it's nothing and it feels really creamy and pleasant. Bonus point - The lipstick stays on longtime!

Cien *Destination* Shower Gels!

Vroeger ging ik regelmatig eens langs de Lidl om boodschappen te doen. Maar nu was het al een hele tijd geleden (ok misschien twee weken ofzo...). Toen ik er gisteren was zag ik deze leuke shower gels liggen. In totaal zijn er vier verschillende varianten, waar ik er twee uitkoos om aan jullie te tonen.

Before I would go to Lidl regularly to do groceries. But now it had been a long time (Ok maybe two weeks or so...). When I was there yesterday I saw these fun shower gels. There are four different variants in total, I choose two to show to you.

De shower gels komen in leuke flesjes met tekeningen erop die je al een beetje doen wegdromen naar je zomervakantie. Zo ook met de namen: 'Destination Barbados' & 'Destination Rio de Janeiro'. Heel leuk! Over de geuren ben ik ook wel te spreken. De Barbados variant vond al snel zijn plaats in m'n winkelkarretje omdat kokosnoot één van m'n favoriete geuren is. Toen ik Rio de Janeiro rook, was mijn keuze ook zeer snel gemaakt. Deze heeft een hele lekkere vanille geur die me een beetje deed denken aan de vanille variant van het merk Tahiti. Als je deze douche gels in je Lidl ziet, zou ik zeker aanraden om er eentje, of ze allemaal (?) mee te nemen, want ik denk wel dat deze ook weer limited edities zijn!

The shower gels come in these fun bottle with drawings that make you dream away to your summer holiday. The same goes with the names: 'Destination Barbados' & 'Destination Rio de Janeiro'. Really nice! I also really love their scents. The Barbados variant found its way in my shopping cart really quick because coconut is one of my favorite scents. When I smelled Rio de Janeiro, my choice was made quickly as well. This one has a really amazing vanilla scent which reminded me of the vanilla variant from the brand Tahiti. If you come across these shower gels in Lidl, I would definitely recommend you to buy one, or all of them (?), because I think these ones are limited editions again!

Lush ❤ Valentine Collection!

Toen de Lush valentijns collectie uitkwam, moest ik er gewoon een aantal dingetjes uit kiezen. Ik koos voor een bubbleroon, een shower gel en een lip scrub.

When Lush came out with its valentine's collection, I just had to get a few bits and bobs. I choose a bubbleroon, a shower gel and a lip scrub.

 ❤ LUSH HEART THROB BUBBLEROON (€ 5,95)

De bubbleroons zijn geïnspireerd op de macarons en met zijn rode hartvormige buitenkant en gouden glitter vulling ziet hij er gewoon super adorable uit! Deze cutie heeft een heerlijke zoete geur en bevat sheaboter. Gewoon heerlijk om hiermee een bad te nemen, en hij geeft je een bad vol bubbles, wat hem alleen nog maar leuker maakt!

The bubbleroons are inspired by the all known macarons and with its red heart shaped outside and golden glitter filling he just looks adorable! This cute has an amazing sweet scent and contains shea butter. To take a bath with this one is just amazing, and it gives you a bath with bubbles, which makes it even more nicer!

❤ LUSH PRINCE CHARMING SHOWER GEL (100ml - € 7,95)

Normaal koop ik niet zo vaak shower gels bij Lush. Eerlijk gezegd vind ik € 7,95 voor 100ml een beetje duur, maar soms heb ik het er wel eens voor over. Wederom is dit een zoete geur, maar dat heb ik af en toe wel eens graag! 

Normally I don't often buy shower gels from Lush. To be honest I think € 7,95 for 100ml is a little bit expensive, but sometimes I just have to buy them. Again this has a really sweet scent, but I like that once in a while!

❤ THE KISS LIP SCRUB (€9,95)

En ten slotte, de lipscrub. Ik had nood aan een nieuwe en naar deze was ik dan ook enorm benieuwd. Alseerste komt hij in dit uberschattige potje! De verpakkingen van Lush vind ik altijd heel fijn. Maar de scrub zelf ziet er ook heel fijn uit, met kleine eetbare hartjes en sprinkles! Het leuke aan de scrubs van Lush is dat je ze gewoon kan opeten, lekker zoet!

And lastly, the lipscrub. I needed a new one so I was most excited about this. Firstly, it comes in the really cute packaging. I always love Lush its packaging, nice and clean. But the scrub itself also look cute, with little hearts and sprinkles you can eat! The awesome thing about Lush's scrubs is also that you can just eat them, nice and sweet!
