Blogmas D21 & 22: XmasNails - Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Deze Rudolph nailart is zo schattig en nog eens super makkelijk om zelf te doen! Wat je nodig hebt zijn twee rode, een witte, een zwarte, een nude en een bruine nagellak. Voor tools heb je enkel een dotting tool nodig.

This red nosed reindeer nail art is so adorable and super easy to do yourself! What you need is two red, a white, black, brown and nude nailpolish. For tools you only need a dotting tool!

Voor de nagel met Rudolph erop begin je met het maken van een grote, rode cirkel, dit word de neis. Hierboven maak je twee witte, grote cirkels en met de nude kleur teken je het gewei (wat eigenlijk gewoon drie lijntjes zijn).Wanneer de witte nagellak droog is, breng je nog twee kleine, zwarte puntjes aan.

Ik wou nog een andere accent nagel doen en vond dit wel een leuk effect hebben! Voor deze rode accent nagel gebruikte ik Pupa's Crystal Effect Nail art kit.

Op de andere nagels breng je gewoon nog wat witte dots aan en je bent klaar!

For the Rudolph nail you start off with making a big red dot, this will make the nose. Above that you apply two big white dots and with a nude color you draw the antlers (which basically are just three lines). When the white dots are dried, you apply two little black dots.

I also choose one other accent nail. I used Pupa's Crystal Effect Nail art kit to get this cool effect. For all the other nails I just applied some big white dots!

Ik hou van deze nieuwe nailart! En hij is ook nog eens makkelijk zelf te doen! Het enige wat je nodig hebt is een zwarte & witte nagellak, een dotting tool en een brush om het sneeuwvlokje te tekenen.

I absolutely love this nailart! And it is really easy to do yourself! All you need is a white & black nailpolish, a dotting tool and a nail brush to make the snowflake.

Met een dotting tool is het heel makkelijk om de witte dotjes te maken. Om het sneeuwvlokje te maken kan je m'n nailart tutorial hier checken, hier toon ik een soortgelijk sneeuwvlokje. Het is wel belangrijk dat je een dunne brush gebruikt, hiermee kan je beter in detail werken. Je kan ook een zwarte nagelpen gebruiken, dit is zelfs nog makkelijker!

With the dotting tool you can create the white dots very easily. To make the snowflake you can check my nail tutorial here, where I showed how to make a similar one! It is important you use a really thin brush, because it is more easier to work in detail. A black nail pen can also be used to create the snowflake!

Blogmas Day 8: XmasNails - Frosty The Snowman

Net zoals ik met Halloween wat nailart tutorials op m'n blog plaatste, wou ik er ook graag een paar maken die met kerst te maken hebben. Ik zag een foto op Pinterest van deze *Frosty The Snowman* nailart, en moest deze gewoon uitproberen. Dus hier is het resultaat!

Just like my Halloween nailart tutorials that I shared with you guys, I wanted to do some Christmas inspired ones as well. I saw a picture on Pinterest from this *Frosty The Snowman* nailart and just had to try it out myself. So here is the result!

Wat ik gebruikte/What I used: Barry M Base Coat, Top Coat & Nail Hardener - Maybelline Color Show Nailpolish in Blackout - NYC Nailpolish in All of the lights - H&M Nailpolish in Sparkling Silver - Essence Nail polish corrector pencil - Claire's Nail Brush - Essence Dotting Tool.

Je kan echt kiezen welke kleuren je gebruikt. Maar ik vond de combinatie van paars met zilver wel leuk voor deze nailart.

You can use any colors you like. But I just liked the combination of purple & silver for this nailart.

Het eerste wat je moet doen is twee laagjes aanbrengen van de kleuren nagelak dat je koos. Gebruik een verschillende kleur voor je ringvinger! Dit zal onze sneeuwman worden.

First you have to apply two coats of the color nailpolish you will use. Use a different color for your ringfinger! This one will become our snowman.

Hierna maakte ik de sneeuwman. Dit vond ik eigenlijk het makkelijkste. Je neemt je dotting tool en zwarte nagellak en zet gewoon een paar dotjes, zodat je de ogen en mond maakt. Hierna neem je dezelfde kleur dat je gebruikte op je andere nagels en zet je nogmaals een dot voor de neus. Dan nam ik een nailbrush en trok de dot verder zodat hij op een punt uitkwam.

Next I made the snowman. This is actually the easiest part. With your dotting tool and a black nailpolish you simply apply some dots to make the eyes and the mouth of the snowman. After this you take the same color of nailpolish you used on the rest of your fingers. To make the nose I put a dot first and then just 'moved it further' with a nail brush.

Tenslotte moet je de sneeuwvlokken maken. Dit lijkt eigenlijk moeilijker dan het is. Eerst zet je een paar dotjes op je nagels, zoals je op de foto kan zien. Hierna neem je je nailbrush en verbindt je alle dots met de dot in het midden. Hierna breng je nog wat kleine lijntjes aan op de grotere lijnen om de sneeuwvlok te creëeren!
Lastly you have to make the snowflakes. It looks more difficult than it really is. First apply some dots like you see on the picture. Next you take a nailbrush and connect all dots with the center one. After that you apply some little lines on the bigger lines to create the snowflake!

Et voilà, je bent klaar!

And voila you're done!
