NOTD: Mint Nailart

It has been a long time since I did a real nailart on my nails. But I just remembered how much I used to like doing it, and how it would just calm me down. I did this nailart last weekend and I used a mint colour as the base colour because I think it is such a nice colour for summer! Whenever I don't know what colour to put on my nails next, I always choose mint. And I think that this one by Essie is just the perfect mint colour ever!

 

Het was echt lang geleden dat ik nog een echte nailart op mijn nagels deed. Maar ik dacht terug aan hoe leuk ik dit vroeger vond, en dat het me echt tot rust kon brengen. Ik deed deze nailart vorig weekend en ik gebruikte een mint kleurtje als basiskleur omdat het zo'n super kleur is voor de zomer! En deze mint kleur dat ik gebruikte van Essie is gewoon de perfecte mint kleur voor mij!

- NYC Rock Muse Smoky Top Coat (I just used the glitters on my ringfinger)

NOTD: Flake Style

Today I'm showing you guys another one of my favorite topcoats. Excuse my nail on my middlefinger, it broke off unfortunately!

 

Vandaag toon ik jullie één van mijn favoriete topcoats. Let niet op de nagel op mijn middelvinger, die is een paar dagen geleden spijtig genoeg afgebroken!

 

For this NOTD is used these nailpolishes and products:

 

Essie 'Stylenomics': an dark green, which seems to be almost black but looks so nice on!

Catrice Million styles effect topcoat 'Shake it! Flake it!': this is one of my favorite topcoats! It looks good with any color and gives it a nice extra touch!

Hema Cuticle lemon oil

 

Voor deze NOTD gebruikte ik volgende nagelakken en producten:

 

Essie 'Stylenomics': dit is een donker groene kleur, hij lijkt bijna zwart maar hij ziet er zo leuk uit!

Catrice Million styles effect topcoat 'Shake it! Flake it!': dit is één van mijn favoriete topcoats! Hij ziet er mooi uit op elke kleur en geeft je nagels een extra touch!

NOTD: Silver Splash

 

Today I got a new nailart for you guys. It's really easy to do and looks so nice! As with most nailarts your can choose the colors you'd like to do it with. I choose blue and silver because blue is my favorite color and I love it in combination with silver!

 

Vandaag heb ik opnieuw een nailart voor jullie. Het is enorm makkelijk om zelf te doen en ziet er zo leuk uit! Zoals met de meeste nailarts kan je natuurlijk andere kleuren kiezen als je dat wil. Ik koos om deze nailart met blauw en zilver te doen omdat blauw mijn lievelingskleur is en ik vind het prachtig in combinatie met zilver!

 

 

Products used: NYC 'Pier 17' - H&M 'Sparkling silver' - Barry M 'Basecoat Topcoat & Nail hardener'  Hema 'Cuticle lemon oil'

 

Step 1: Apply a basecoat.

Step 2: Choose which color you want all over your nail. I choose NYC's 'Pier 17' which is gorgeous blue with shimmer and some subtle glitters.

Step 3: Apply your second nailcolor. I choose H&M's 'Silver Sparkle' which is a nice silver color. You can choose any color you'd like for this!

Step 4: Whilest your second color is still wet you press a paper tissue on your nail making this cool design! The goal of this step is that you can see your first nail color coming through the second one.

Step 5: Apply a topcoat.

Step 6: Apply some cuticle oil on your cuticles! To finish off you can put some handcream on your hands and your done!

 

Gebruikte producten: NYC 'Pier 17' - H&M 'Sparkling silver' - Barry M 'Basecoat Topcoat & Nail hardener' Hema 'Cuticle lemon oil'

 

Stap 1: Breng een basecoat aan op je nagels.

Stap 2: Kies welke kleur je als eerste wilt aanbrengen. Ik koos voor NYC's 'Pier 17', een prachtige blauwe kleur met een shimmer en subtiele glitters.

Stap 3: Breng je tweede kleur aan. Ik koos voor H&M's 'Silver Sparkle' een mooie zilvere kleur.

Stap 4: Terwijl deze tweede kleur nog nat is, druk je een stukje keukenrol/papier op je nagels, zodat je dit leuke design krijgt. De bedoeling is dat de eerste kleur dat je aanbracht door de tweede kleur verschijnt!

Stap 5: Breng een topcoat aan op je nagels.

Stap 6: Breng wat cuticle oil aan op je nagelriemen. Hierna kan je wat handcréme gebruiken en dan ben je klaar!
