Maybelline Color Show All Access NY Topcoats! ★

Het is weer zover, er liggen vier nieuwe limited editie top coats van Maybelline bij de Kruidvat! M'n hart maakte een sprongetje toen ik deze zag, for real. De vorige limited editie *Be Brilliant* was leuk, maar let's be honest - de vier lakjes leken te sterk op elkaar. Maar dat is helemaal niet het geval met deze *All Access NY* lakjes, super! De collectie is gemaakt rond New York, en dat zal je ook wel merken aan de leuke namen die ze kregen.

It's happening again, there are four new limited edition top coats from Maybelline available at Kruidvat! My heart skipped a beat when I saw them, for real. The last limited edition *Be Brilliant* was fun, but let's be honest - the four nailpolishes looked to much similar. But that's is not the case with these *All Access NY* nailpolishes, awesome! The collection is made around New York, and that you will notice by the cute names they got. 

NEW ❤ Catrice Ombre Topcoat!

De ombre trend bestaat al een tijdje en je ziet hem echt voor alles. Je kan je haar ombre kleuren, kledij, lippen, nagels, etc. Ik deed vroeger al eens een NOTD waar ik een Ombre nail deed, maar Catrice brengt nu deze leuke topcoat in hun assortiment waarmee je de ombre trend heel makkelijk zelf kan doen.

Ombre has been in for a while now and you see it basically for everything. You can dye your hair ombre, clothing, lips, nails, etc. I did an NOTD before were I created an Ombre nail, but now Catrice brought this awesome topcoat in their range of products. With the topcoat you can create the ombre nail very easily.

De topcoat komt in het bekende Catrice flesje en zou werken met alle lichte kleurtjes. Maar hoe ga je nu juist te werk? Je brengt een lichte kleur aan op je nagels en daarna ga je er gewoon over met de topcoat. De eerste nagel laat je zonder topcoat, op de tweede breng je één laagje aan, op de derde twee laagjes en op de vierde drie laagjes. Ik bracht op m'n duim nog vier laagjes aan. 

Je kan echt makkelijk meerdere laagjes aanbrengen omdat de topcoat heel dun is en het effect dat je krijgt is ook heel subtiel. Ik vind wel dat hij niet even verdeelt en dat je best snel lijnen kan zien. Maar het idee achter deze topcoat vind ik wel top!

The topcoat comes in the known Catrice bottle and should work on every light color. But how do you create this ombre look? You apply a light color on all your nails and then you simply go over it with the topcoat. The first nail you don't put the topcoat on, on the second you apply one layer, on the third two layer and on the fourth three layers. I also applied four layers on my thumb.

You can easily apply different layers because the topcoat is really thin and the effect you get is really subtle. However I do think that it doesn't apply evenly and you can see lines. But the idea behind the topcoat is amazing!

Hier heb ik de lichte kleur aangebracht, ik gebruikte Maybelline Color Show in 300 Pink Lady.

Het resultaat met de ombre topcoat! Zoals je ziet is het echt een heel subtiele ombre! Jammer genoeg liet ik hem niet goed drogen waardoor mijn nagellak op m'n midden- en wijsvinger een beetje messed up is.

The result with the ombre topcoat! As you can see it really is a subtle ombre! Unfortunately I didn't let it dry really well so the nailpolish on my middel- and index finger is a bit messed up.

NOTD: Disco Inferno

Het is weer een tijdje geleden dat ik nog eens een NOTD deed, en om eerlijk te zijn heb ik een lange en vermoeiende week achter de rug, dus had ik niet zoveel zin om m'n nagels een leuk kleurtje te geven. Maar vandaag was een relaxte dag voor me en besloot ik m'n nagels weer een leuk kleurtje te geven.

It's been a while since I posted an NOTD, but to be honest I have had a long and tiring week so I did not feel like doing my nails really. But today I had a very needed relaxed day and decided to do my nails.

Gebruikt / Used:

- Catrice  Moonlight Express (Limited edition Out of space): Een oldie uit m'n collectie, maar niettemin een prachtig lakje! Het is dé perfecte donkerblauwe (bijna zwarte) kleur met kleine glittertjes. En hij dekt ook supergoed!

An old one, but nevertheless a beautiful colour! It is the perfect dark blue (almost black) with tiny glitters. And he covers up really good!

- NYC topcoat Disco Inferno: Een nieuwe topcoat! & Iloveit! Sommige topcoats geven bijna geen glitters af wanneer je ze aanbrengt, maar deze is echt super hierin! Hij heeft een mengeling van zilvere en blauwe glitters waardoor ik hem super vind bij het donkere lakje van Catrice.

A new topcoat! &Iloveit! Some topcoats do not give alot of glitters when applied, but this one works really well! It has a mix of silver and blue sparkles which makes me love the combination with the dark polish from Catrice.

NOTD: Mint Nailart

It has been a long time since I did a real nailart on my nails. But I just remembered how much I used to like doing it, and how it would just calm me down. I did this nailart last weekend and I used a mint colour as the base colour because I think it is such a nice colour for summer! Whenever I don't know what colour to put on my nails next, I always choose mint. And I think that this one by Essie is just the perfect mint colour ever!

 

Het was echt lang geleden dat ik nog een echte nailart op mijn nagels deed. Maar ik dacht terug aan hoe leuk ik dit vroeger vond, en dat het me echt tot rust kon brengen. Ik deed deze nailart vorig weekend en ik gebruikte een mint kleurtje als basiskleur omdat het zo'n super kleur is voor de zomer! En deze mint kleur dat ik gebruikte van Essie is gewoon de perfecte mint kleur voor mij!

NOTD: Flake Style

Today I'm showing you guys another one of my favorite topcoats. Excuse my nail on my middlefinger, it broke off unfortunately!

 

Vandaag toon ik jullie één van mijn favoriete topcoats. Let niet op de nagel op mijn middelvinger, die is een paar dagen geleden spijtig genoeg afgebroken!

 

For this NOTD is used these nailpolishes and products:

 

Essie 'Stylenomics': an dark green, which seems to be almost black but looks so nice on!

Catrice Million styles effect topcoat 'Shake it! Flake it!': this is one of my favorite topcoats! It looks good with any color and gives it a nice extra touch!

Hema Cuticle lemon oil

 

Voor deze NOTD gebruikte ik volgende nagelakken en producten:

 

Essie 'Stylenomics': dit is een donker groene kleur, hij lijkt bijna zwart maar hij ziet er zo leuk uit!

Catrice Million styles effect topcoat 'Shake it! Flake it!': dit is één van mijn favoriete topcoats! Hij ziet er mooi uit op elke kleur en geeft je nagels een extra touch!

NOTD | HIGH ENERGY & CONFETTIS

For this NOTD I used Rimmel's Firecracker in 271 High Energy & L'oréal's Topcoat in Confettis. I really like the combo of all these colors together. And this topcoat just looks amazing! I love the mix of black and white 'speckles'!

 

Voor deze NOTS gebruikte ik Rimmel's Firecracker in 271 High Energy & L'oréal's topcoat in Confettis. Ik vind de combinatie van deze kleuren echt mooi! En de topcoat ziet er zo leuk uit! Ik hou van de mix met zwarte en witte glitters!
