NEW ❤ Catrice Ombre Topcoat!

De ombre trend bestaat al een tijdje en je ziet hem echt voor alles. Je kan je haar ombre kleuren, kledij, lippen, nagels, etc. Ik deed vroeger al eens een NOTD waar ik een Ombre nail deed, maar Catrice brengt nu deze leuke topcoat in hun assortiment waarmee je de ombre trend heel makkelijk zelf kan doen.

Ombre has been in for a while now and you see it basically for everything. You can dye your hair ombre, clothing, lips, nails, etc. I did an NOTD before were I created an Ombre nail, but now Catrice brought this awesome topcoat in their range of products. With the topcoat you can create the ombre nail very easily.

De topcoat komt in het bekende Catrice flesje en zou werken met alle lichte kleurtjes. Maar hoe ga je nu juist te werk? Je brengt een lichte kleur aan op je nagels en daarna ga je er gewoon over met de topcoat. De eerste nagel laat je zonder topcoat, op de tweede breng je één laagje aan, op de derde twee laagjes en op de vierde drie laagjes. Ik bracht op m'n duim nog vier laagjes aan. 

Je kan echt makkelijk meerdere laagjes aanbrengen omdat de topcoat heel dun is en het effect dat je krijgt is ook heel subtiel. Ik vind wel dat hij niet even verdeelt en dat je best snel lijnen kan zien. Maar het idee achter deze topcoat vind ik wel top!

The topcoat comes in the known Catrice bottle and should work on every light color. But how do you create this ombre look? You apply a light color on all your nails and then you simply go over it with the topcoat. The first nail you don't put the topcoat on, on the second you apply one layer, on the third two layer and on the fourth three layers. I also applied four layers on my thumb.

You can easily apply different layers because the topcoat is really thin and the effect you get is really subtle. However I do think that it doesn't apply evenly and you can see lines. But the idea behind the topcoat is amazing!

Hier heb ik de lichte kleur aangebracht, ik gebruikte Maybelline Color Show in 300 Pink Lady.

Het resultaat met de ombre topcoat! Zoals je ziet is het echt een heel subtiele ombre! Jammer genoeg liet ik hem niet goed drogen waardoor mijn nagellak op m'n midden- en wijsvinger een beetje messed up is.

How to: Ombré Lips

 

It all started with Ombré hair, but these days you see Ombré everywhere! Wether it's in the clothes or on your nails, but recently I've seen a picture of 'Ombré Lips' and I really liked the look of it, so I recreated it. The nice thing about it is that you can choose which colors you work with. I choose to work with red and gold, because I had to go to a wedding and I thought it suits nice as a 'party look'. But you can also do it with a dark and light red, or even with nude colors!

 

Het begon allemaal met Ombré haar, maar nu zie je ombré echt overal! Of het nu in de kledij is of je nailart! Laatst zag ik een foto van 'Ombré lips' en ik vond het er zo leuk uitzien dat ik de look ook eens graag wou proberen. Het leuke eraan is dat je zelf kan kiezen met welke kleuren je te werk gaat. Ik koos voor een rode lip met gouden touch omdat ik naar een huwelijksfeest ging, en ik vond dit de perfecte 'party look'. Maar je kan deze leuk ook recreëren met bijvoorbeeld een lichte en donker rode kleur, of zelfs met nude kleurtjes!

2. First you start of with the color you'd like to be all over your lip, for this step I choose the red color!

3. For the next step you can also choose a different lipstick and apply it with a lip brush. But I had this golden colored highlight and thought it would be perfect for this look! You only need a little bit of the product and you can use your hand as a palette. Just use your fingers and dap the highlight in the middle of your lips to create a nice golden touch!

2. Eerst start je met de kleur die je graag over gans je lippen wilt, ik koos hiervoor de rode kleur!

3. Voor de laatste stap kan je ook een andere lipstick gebruiken en de kleur op je lippen aanbrengen met een lip brush. Maar ik koos voor de laatste stap om een goudkleurige highlight te gebruiken. Je moet slechts een beetje van het product gebruiken en je kan je hand als palette gebruiken. Gebruik je vingers om de gouden kleur lichtjes in het midden van je lippen aan te brengen!
