Rimmel ♥ 'Keep Calm and Rock' Lipbalm!

Laatst was ik in de Kruidvat en liep ik langs de counter van Rimmel. M'n oog spotte ineens deze schattige lipbalm die me een beetje deden denken aan de Maybelline Baby Lips! Jammergenoeg was er enkel nog dit kleurtje. 

Last time I was at Kruidvat, I walked by Rimmel's display. My eye spotted this cute lipbalm which reminded me a little bit about the Maybelline Baby Lips! I was only a little bit dissapointed they only had this color left.

 

De verpakking van deze lipbalm valt zeker en vast op dankzij de felle kleuren. In totaal zijn er vier verschillende lipbalms, op elk van hen staat zo'n leuke keep calm quote.

The packaging of the lipbalm definitely stands out because of its bright colors. In total there are four different lipbalms, each of them has a cute keep calm quote.

Als je m'n blog volgt, weet je misschien al wel dat ik het echt heb voor dit soort lipbalms: verzorging + een subtiel tintje = <3! Deze voelt ook heel zacht en hydraterend aan op de lippen!

Hema Lipbalms!

Ze horen een beetje bij m'n laatste posts over Hema's notebooks. Het zijn deze lipbalms in schattige potjes met leuke quotes erop!

They kind of match with my last post about Hema its notebooks. It are these lip balms in cute pots with nice quotes on them!

Zien ze er niet leuk uit? Ik heb drie verschillende smaken. De gele is citroen, de blauwe kokosnoot en de roze kersen. Deze laatste is m'n favoriet, hij ruikt zo lekker en geeft je lippen een subtiel tintje! Ze zijn cute en handig om mee te nemen waar je ook gaat! Een aanrader dus.

Don't they look cute? I have three different flavours. The yellow one is lemon, the blue on coconut and the pink one is cherry. This last one is my favorite, it smells amazing and gives your lips a subtle color. They are cute and handy to take with you wherever you go! I recommend this one!

EOS Lipbalm!

Wat was ik blij toen ik deze in de Urban Outfitters zag liggen! Ik zag hem al vaker bij Amerikaanse bloggers/vloggers en omdat er hierover altijd goeie reviews komen, wilde ik hem zo graag zelf proberen!

I was so happy when I saw this one at Urban Outfitters! I saw a lot of American bloggers/vloggers talk good about this lipbalm, that is why I really wanted to see for myself!

Dit muntgroene, schattig eitje is de sweet mint smaak. Dit was ook de enigste dat ik zag liggen, maar ik was al blij dat ik er één smaak zag! Bovendien is munt een hele fijne en frisse smaak.

De EOS lipbalms zien er anders dan alle andere lipbalms uit en dat ik er ook zo leuk aan!

Hij is makkelijk aan te brengen en hydrateerd de lippen super! Enige minpuntje? Hij was € 8, wat best wel veel is voor een lip balm!

This mint, cute egg is the sweet mint flavor. This was actually the only flavor I saw there, but I was already happy that I saw them there. And mint is a really nice and fresh flavor!

The EOS lipbalms look different than all the other lipbalms and that is what I also like about them so much!

They are easy to apply and moisturize the lips really well! One negative point? It costs € 8, which is quiet expensive for a lip balm!

Deauty: January 2014

Telkens het einde van de maand in zicht is, wordt ik blij omdat ik m'n Deauty box ontvang. Ookal zijn de producten soms wat minder, toch is het telkens spannend om te ontdekken wat je elke maand krijgt!

Every time the end of the month is near, I get excited because I am going to receive my Deauty box. Although sometimes the products aren't for me or I don't like them, it is exciting to find out which products you get every month!

Deze maand had de box weer een thema... Deauty makes sense! Hij is bedoeld om je zintuigen te prikkelen.

1. Avril - Eyeshadow Duo in Jade Océan - Full Size: € 2,30

Het eerste product is dit oogschaduw duo van Avril. Avril is een leuk merk én is bovendien ook een biologisch product. Nu moet ik wel toegeven dat dit niet echt m'n kleuren zijn. Maar de pigmentatie is wel super en het bloemenpatroon is wel schattig!

The first product is this eyeshadow duo from Avril. Avril is a really nice brand and it is a organic brand. I have to admit that these are not my colors. But the pigmentation is really nice and the floral pattern is cute!

2. JM - Nailpolish in 34 When in Rome... - Full Size: € 10,59

Ik ben echt verslaafd aan alles wat met nagels te maken heeft. Dus telkens er een nagellak in de Deauty box zit ben ik enorm blij! Het is de eerste keer dat ik er één van dit merk probeer. De borstel is wel wat aan de dunne kant, wat het wat 'moeilijker' maakt om de nagellak aan te brengen. Ik moeset ook drie laagjes aanbrengen voor ik dit mooie resultaat kreeg. Maar het is e cht een heel mooie rode kleur met een wat fuchsia ondertoon! En rood is een kleur dat je het hele jaar door kan dragen!

I am really obsessed with anything nail related. So whenever I find a nail polish in the Deauty box I get super excited! It is the first time I try out this brand. I find the brush really thin, which makes it a little bit 'harder' to apply it on the nails. I also had to apply three layers before I had this nice result. But it is an amazing red color! And I believe red can be worn all year round!

3. Plante System - Lip Balm - Full Size: € 6,50

Als het op verzorging aankomt, is Plante System één van m'n favoriete merken geworden - Thanks to Deauty! Deze keer zat er een lippenbalsem in de box. Hij heeft de geur van kamille, waar ik normaal gesproken niet voor zou kiezen, maar toch heeft hij iets lekkers. Verder is het een goeie dikke stick wat het aanbrengen heel makkelijk maakt. Hij voelt ook heel dik en zacht aan. Weer een superproduct van dit merk!

When it comes to skincare, Plante Systeme has become one of my favorite brands - Thanks to Deauty! This time they put a lipbalm in the box. It has the scent of camomile, which I would normally not choose myself, but it really has a nice scent to it. The lipbalm comes in a good, thick stick which makes applying it very easy. It feels thick and creamy. Another amazing product from this brand!

4. Narciso Rodrigues - 'For her' Eau de Parfum - 4ml - (Full size: 50 ml- € 78,61)

Iets waar ik het 'minst blij' om ben is deze sample parfum. Ik ben er gewoon niet zo wild van en heb er zo al eens eentje ontvangen. Toch heeft deze parfum een lekkere geur.

Something I'm 'less excited' about is this sample parfum. I'm just not that much of a fan of these samples, and I already had received one of these. Although the perfume has a nice scent.

5. Rock Beauty London - Eyerock Liner Classic - Full Size: € 5,99

We kregen al een kleine hint dat er een product in zou zitten wat afkomstig is uit Londen, maar (nog) niet verkrijgbaar in België. En dit is het dan de Rock Beauty London Eye liner designer. Ik ben niet zo voor dit soort producten, maar wel leuk dat er vier verschillende designs in één pakketje zitten!

We already got a little clue that there will be a product in the box that come from London, but is not available (yet) in Belgium. And here it is, the Rock Beauty London Eye liner designer. I'm not thrilled about these kind of products, but it is pretty awesome that you get four different designs in one package!

The Body Shop Born Lippy Lipbalm Pots

 

I first bought the Born Lippy Lip Balm pot in watermelon (the orangy one) to try it out and because there was a discount on so it only costs € 2,50. But I have been loving it so much I decided to try out the Raspberry flavoured (the purple one) one as well!

 

Ik kocht de Born Lippy Lip Balm pot in watermelon (de oranjekleurige) een tijdje geleden om hem eens uit te proberen, en ook omdat er op een aantal Born Lippy's kortingen zijn zodat ze slechts € 2,50 kosten! Ik gebruik hem echt dagelijks en vind hem zo goed dat ik de Raspberry pot (de paarse) ook wou uitproberen!

 

 

The Born Lippy's are really good moisturizers! They give your lips the right amount of moisture, a little bit of color and shine and they taste good! They only thing I don't like about them is that they come in a little pot like that. But hey if the product is that good I can live with it! They leave my lips feeling super moisturized and nice and shiny. I use it every morning before applying any make up. I find them to be a really nice base for my lipstick as well and they give my lipstick more shine to it!

 

De Born Lippy's zijn echt zo'n goede moisturizers! Ze geven je lippen de juiste hydratatie, een klein beetje kleur en glans en ze smaken zo lekker! Het enige wat ik minder vind is dat ze in zo'n klein potje komen. Maar hey als het product zelf zo goed is kan ik er best mee leven! Ze laten mijn lippen super gehydrateerd achter en met een leuke glans. Ik gebruik ze elke morgend voor ik make-up aanbreng. Ik vind ze ook een goede basis om lipstick op aan te brengen en ze maken hierbij de lipstick ook meer glanzend!
