Favorieten | Nagellak Zomer 2016!

Hey loves! Het weekend is weer voorbijgevlogen, maar ik moet deze week enkel 3 dagen werken, en dan ben ik weer even thuis ;). Ik denk dat jullie allicht over de nieuwe Pokémon Go-app hebben gehoord? En ja hoor, ik heb hem ondertussen ook gedownload, en het is nog best leuk, maar wel erg verslavend haha! Ik woon net aan drie pokéstops (als je de app hebt, you know what I'm talking about!) en het valt gewoon meteen op wie de Pokémon-app speelt en wie niet haha. Maar goed, vandaag toon ik jullie mijn favoriete nagellakjes! Benieuwd? Kijk dan snel even met me verder..

NYC ❤ Cityproof Twistable Intense Lip Color!

De cityproof twistable lip colors zijn al een tijdje in het assortiment van NYC cosmetics. Omdat ik wat nieuwe herfstkleurtjes nodig had, koos ik er twee uit. 

The cityproof twistable lip colors have been in NYC Cosmetics' collection for a while now. Because I wanted a few new Autumn colors, I choose two out of it.

L-R: 052 Roosevelt Island Red & 031 Gramercy Park Plum

De lip colors komen in de vorm van grote potloden & for real 'chubby stick-a-likes' zijn eigenlijk mijn favoriet! Ik vind ze makkelijk aan te brengen en er leuk uitzien! Zoals ik al zei koos ik er twee kleuren uit. 052 Rooseveld Island Red is een warme rode kleur, eigenlijk is het zo'n rode kleur dat je een gans jaar door kan dragen. 031 Gramercy Park Plum is dan weer een mooi berrykleurtje.

The lip color come in the shape of big pencils & for real 'chubby stick-a-likes' are my favorite! I think they are easy to apply and look cute! As I already said I choose two colors. 052 Rooseveld Island Red is a warm red color, it is actually that kind of red you could wear the whole year. 031 Gramercy Park Plum is a gorgeous berry color.

De potloden zijn mooi gepigmenteerd, al moet ik wel erbij zeggen dat de kleuren wat minder donker uitkomen, dan dat je zou denken. Niettemin zijn het nog steeds mooie kleurtjes!

The pencils are well pigmented, although I do have to say that the colors come out a little bit lighter than you would then. Nevertheless they are still gorgeous!

NYC ♛ Crystal Couture Nailpolish!

De lakjes komen in de standaard NYC flesjes met 'Crystal Couture' in sierlijke letters erop. Zoals ik al zei, zijn er vier kleurtjes: 011 Fashion Queen, 012 Ruby Queen, 013 NY Princess en 014 Blue Majesty.

The nailpolishes come in the standard NYC bottles with 'Crystal Couture' written in fancy lettering. As I said before there are four colors: 011 Fashion Queen, 012 Ruby Queen, 013 NY Princess and 014 Blue Majesty.

NYC All day long Smooth Skin Foundation

NYC Cosmetics heeft me eigenlijk verrast met hun BB crème, ik vond hem zo leuk, dat toen ik zag dat ze met een nieuwe foundation uitkwamen, ik deze ook eens moest proberen!

NYC Cosmetics had surprised me with their BB crème, I liked it so much, so when I saw they came out with a new foundation, I just had to try it out!

Wat ik zo leuk vind aan de BB cream & foundation van NYC is dat ze m'n huidskleur goed matchen. Deze foundation zou zo'n 14 uren blijven zitten en naar mijn mening is dit wel zo! 

What I like so much about NYC's BB creams & foundations is that they match my skin tone perfectly. This foundation claims to last up to 14 hours and I have to agree with that!

Ik koos de kleur 740 Warm Beige. Buiten deze kleur zijn er nog 4 andere kleuren beschikbaar: 737 Classic Ivory, 739 Classic Beige, 745 Soft Honey en 746 Classic Tan. De kleuropties zijn toch al wat beter dan die van de BB cream waar er maar twee kleuren in beschikbaar zijn!

I choose the color 740 Warm Beige. Besides this one there are four more colors available: 737 Classic Ivory, 739 Classic Beige, 745 Soft Honey en 746 Classic Tan. So the color choices are better than those from the BB cream, where you can only choose from two colors!

Deze foundation heeft een pompsysteem en als het op foundations aankomt gaat m'n voorkeur ook uit naar zoiets omdat het vooral hygiënischer is! Voor slechts € 4,99 krijg je 27,3ml foundation, wat gemiddeld is.

The foundation has a pump system and when it comes to foundations I prefer it this way because it is more hygienic. For only € 4,99 you get 27,3ml foundation, which is average.

Hij claimt om donkere plaatsen te verminderen en hij geeft je een matt effect de hele dag. De foundation voelt luchtig en redelijk dun aan en geeft je een medium coverage. 

Ik vind het effect van deze foundation echt leuk. Hij geeft je een natuurlijke, stralende glans en is makkelijk aan te brengen. 

Het enige minpuntje dat ik kan bedenken is dat hij geen SPF bevat.

He claims to reduce dark areas and give you a matte effect all day long. The foundation feels light and rather thin, he gives a medium coverage.

I really like the effect of this foundation. It gives you a natural, radiant glow and is easy to apply.

The only negative point I can think of is that he doesn't have SPF.

2013 Favorites: Eyeshadow

Hey allemaal! Hopelijk hebben jullie een leuk weekend. Op deze zaterdagavond ga ik verder met al m'n 2013 faves! Vandaag zijn oogschaduws aan de beurt!

Hey guys! I hope you all are having a nice weekend. On this Saturday evening I will continue my 2013 favorites! Today I'll be showing you my favorite eyeshadows!

1. Catrice Absolute Nude Eyeshadow Palette

Je zal meteen merken dat ik altijd voor neutrale kleuren kies. Dit palette heeft zes nude kleurtjes, een paar zandkleuren en wat bruine tinten. De pigmentatie is best ok als je een subtiele everyday look wil. De tweede en derde kleuren zijn vooral m'n favoriet!

You will notice immediately that I always go for neutral colors. This palette has six nude colors,  some sand colors and a couple of browns. The pigmentation of this palette is allright if you want to create a subtle everyday look! The second and third color are mostly my favorite!

2. NYC Quattro Eye Shadow in 817 South Street Seaport

Dit is m'n laatste favoriet! De pigmentatie is echt goed en de kleuren hebben een meer rozige toets, maar ze zijn toch nog neutraal. De tweede kleur is m'n favoriet!

This is my latest favorite! Pigmentation is really good and the colors have more of a pink touch to them, but still neutral. The second color is my favorite!

3. Catrice Soft Duo Eyeshadow in  C02 Beauty Bouquet

Dit duo komt uit een limited editie (Eve in bloom) van Catrice en kan je dus niet meer kopen. Maar met z'n roosgouden en aubergine kleur geeft het een erg mooie smokey eye!

This duo is from a limited edition (Eve in bloom) from Catrice, so you can't buy it no more. But with its rose golden and aubergine color it gives a really nice smokey eye!

Blogmas Day 12: Awesome Nailpolishes for the Holidays!

Ik vind het enorm leuk om speciale nail arts & designs te maken. Maar niet iedereen wil dit zelf ook doen. Daarom ga ik jullie vandaag een aantal van m'n favoriete nagellakken & topcoats tonen die ik zou dragen met Kerstmis!

I love doing special nail arts & designs. But not everyone wants to do that. Therefor I wanted to show you guys some of my favorite nailpolishes & topcoats that I would wear on Christmas!

Vele merken kwamen uit met deze sand looks met glitters en ik vind ze gewoon super voor de feestdagen! Ze zien er zo prachtig &  sparkly uit! Met andere woorden, ze zijn perfect voor Kerst & nieuwjaar! Deze nagellakken van Gosh zien er eigelijk wat gelijkaardig uit met diegene dat ik heb van Barry M. De Brocades van Maybelline kan je zo dragen, maar je kan ze ook als topcoat gebruiken. Als je deze shimmery, toch wel felle kleurtjes niets voor jou vind, denk ik dat Rimmel's Space Dust nagellak in Total Eclipse perfect is! Het is een donkere kleur, maar hij heeft kleine, groene glittertjes, wat er zo mooi uitziet!

A lot of different brands came out with these sand looks with glitters in and I absolutely love them for the holidays! They look amazing and sparkly which is perfect for Christmas and New Year! The ones from Gosh look really similar to the ones from Barry M. The Brocades from Maybelline can be worn on their own or as a topcoat. If you do not like these shimmery, kind of bright colors, I think Rimmel's Space Dust nailpolish in Total Eclipse will be perfect! It is a dark color, but it has these tiny green glitters in it, which makes it soo beautiful!

Gewoon enkel een kleurtje kan er ook prachtig uitzien! Als je het een beetje meer 'opvallende' wil maken kan je wat glitters op één nagel aanbrengen. Rood is een kleur dat eigenlijk in elk seizoen past, maar nog meer voor Kerst. M'n favoriete rode kleurtjes op het moment zijn: Maybelline's Red Dinge (Een prachtige rode kleur, zonder shimmer) en NYC's Red Melody (Een mooi kleurtje dat wel shimmer bevat). Ik probeerde twee verschillende topcoats uit. NYC's ed Hot (bevat kleine, rode glittes, en grotere, zilveren glitters). Deze top coat is wat subtieler omdat de rode glitters goed matchen met de rode kleur van de nagellak. De zilveren glitters zijn ook subtieler omdat je zal zien, wanneer je deze top coat aanbrengt, er niet veel zilveren glitters uit het potje komen. Maar m'n favoriete top coat in combinatie met de rode kleur is NYC's Top of the Gold. Look how amazing it looks!

Simply a plain color can look amazing as well! To jazz it up a bit you can put some glitters on an accent nail if you want to. As for color, I think red is amazing any day, but especially for Christmas! My two favorite ones at the moment are: Maybelline's Red Dingue (a beautiful plain red color) and NYC's Red Melody (Which has a nice shimmer to it). For top coats on an accent nail I tried out two different ones. NYC's Red hot (Tiny red glitters and a few silver bigger glitters) Is more subtle since the glitters match the nailpolish more. The silver glitters are also subtle, because you will see you won't get a lot of them out. My favorite topcoat in combination with the red is the NYC's Top of the gold! It looks amazing and I love red & gold together for Christmas!

Ik wou ook graag eens met witte nagellak wat uitproberen. M'n favoriete witte nagellak is er eentje v an NYC: Blanco.  Op de eerste nagel bracht ik een topcoat van Catrice's Million Styles aan. Deze top coat herrinerde me aan sneeuwvlokjes! Ik bracht ook aan de top Essence's Hello Holo aan, omdat ik dacht dat dit een leuk effect zou geven. Maar uiteindelijk vind ik het beter zonder de Hello Holo. Tenslotte bracht ik op een tweede nagel een H&M Glitter nagellak aan! Deze ziet er ook prachtig uit vind ik!

I wanted to play around a little bit with a white nailpolish as well. My favorite white nailpolish is Blanco by NYC. On the first nail I applied a Top coat from Catrice's Million Style. This top coat reminded me off snowflakes so I thought it be perfect. I applied Essence's Hello Holo on top of the nail, because I thought it would give a nice effect. In the end I liked it better with the snowflake topcoat alone. On the second nail I applied a glitter nail polish from H&M! It think this one looks amazing as well!

NOTD: NYC Quick Dry Nailpolish *All of the Lights*

Another NOTD for you guys! Lately I have been obsessing over dark nailpolishes. More specific blues, purples and greens! Absolutely love them for fall!

Hier ben ik weer met een NOTD voor jullie! De laatste tijd ben ik echt verslaafd aan donkere nagellakken. Om meer precies te zijn: blauwe, paarse en groene! Ik vind ze absoluut fantastich voor de herfst!

I've said it before, NYC is one of my favourite brands that isn't too expensive. When I saw the colour All of the lights I just had to get it. It is such a beautiful dark purple. Love it!

Ik heb het al eens eerder gezegd, NYC is één van m'n favoriete merken dat niet te duur is. Toen ik de kleur All of the lights zag, moest ik hem gewoon kopen. Hij heeft zo'n prachtige donker paarse kleur. Love it!

NYC Quickdry Nailpolish *Blue Sky*

Lately I have been loving blue nailpolish. At the moment it's mainly dark blues, since fall is coming up. But this light blue is a perfect summer colour! Or even a perfect colour on those warm sunny days (which we had last week).

De laatste tijd heb ik het echt voor blauwe nagellakken. Nu zijn het vooral donker blauwe kleuren, omdat de herfst er aan zit te komen. Maar dit licht blauw kleurtje is perfect voor de zomer! Of zelfs gewoon perfect op die zonnige, warme dagen (die we vorige week nog hadden).

I'm a big fan of NYC's nailpolishes. I really like the packaging, the nailpolish is so easy to apply and they dry very quick! This colour is called Blue Sky. Is has slightly a green tone to it, but once you have applied it and it has dried it becomes this beautiful baby blue turquoise. It is an amazing colour and looks similar to the oh-so-famous blue colour from Tiffany & co.

Ik ben echt een grote fan van NYC's nagellakken! Ik hou van de verpakking, de nagellak is erg makkelijk aan te brengen en ze drogen enorm snel! Deze kleur noemt Blue Sky. Hij heeft een beetje een groene toon, maar eens je hem aanbrengt en hij droog is, heeft hij een mooie baby blauwe, turqouise kleurtje. Het is zo'n prachtig kleurtje en hij lijkt op de oh-zo-beroemde blauwe kleur van Tiffany & co.
