Blogmas Day 12: Awesome Nailpolishes for the Holidays!

Ik vind het enorm leuk om speciale nail arts & designs te maken. Maar niet iedereen wil dit zelf ook doen. Daarom ga ik jullie vandaag een aantal van m'n favoriete nagellakken & topcoats tonen die ik zou dragen met Kerstmis!

I love doing special nail arts & designs. But not everyone wants to do that. Therefor I wanted to show you guys some of my favorite nailpolishes & topcoats that I would wear on Christmas!

Vele merken kwamen uit met deze sand looks met glitters en ik vind ze gewoon super voor de feestdagen! Ze zien er zo prachtig &  sparkly uit! Met andere woorden, ze zijn perfect voor Kerst & nieuwjaar! Deze nagellakken van Gosh zien er eigelijk wat gelijkaardig uit met diegene dat ik heb van Barry M. De Brocades van Maybelline kan je zo dragen, maar je kan ze ook als topcoat gebruiken. Als je deze shimmery, toch wel felle kleurtjes niets voor jou vind, denk ik dat Rimmel's Space Dust nagellak in Total Eclipse perfect is! Het is een donkere kleur, maar hij heeft kleine, groene glittertjes, wat er zo mooi uitziet!

A lot of different brands came out with these sand looks with glitters in and I absolutely love them for the holidays! They look amazing and sparkly which is perfect for Christmas and New Year! The ones from Gosh look really similar to the ones from Barry M. The Brocades from Maybelline can be worn on their own or as a topcoat. If you do not like these shimmery, kind of bright colors, I think Rimmel's Space Dust nailpolish in Total Eclipse will be perfect! It is a dark color, but it has these tiny green glitters in it, which makes it soo beautiful!

Gewoon enkel een kleurtje kan er ook prachtig uitzien! Als je het een beetje meer 'opvallende' wil maken kan je wat glitters op één nagel aanbrengen. Rood is een kleur dat eigenlijk in elk seizoen past, maar nog meer voor Kerst. M'n favoriete rode kleurtjes op het moment zijn: Maybelline's Red Dinge (Een prachtige rode kleur, zonder shimmer) en NYC's Red Melody (Een mooi kleurtje dat wel shimmer bevat). Ik probeerde twee verschillende topcoats uit. NYC's ed Hot (bevat kleine, rode glittes, en grotere, zilveren glitters). Deze top coat is wat subtieler omdat de rode glitters goed matchen met de rode kleur van de nagellak. De zilveren glitters zijn ook subtieler omdat je zal zien, wanneer je deze top coat aanbrengt, er niet veel zilveren glitters uit het potje komen. Maar m'n favoriete top coat in combinatie met de rode kleur is NYC's Top of the Gold. Look how amazing it looks!

Simply a plain color can look amazing as well! To jazz it up a bit you can put some glitters on an accent nail if you want to. As for color, I think red is amazing any day, but especially for Christmas! My two favorite ones at the moment are: Maybelline's Red Dingue (a beautiful plain red color) and NYC's Red Melody (Which has a nice shimmer to it). For top coats on an accent nail I tried out two different ones. NYC's Red hot (Tiny red glitters and a few silver bigger glitters) Is more subtle since the glitters match the nailpolish more. The silver glitters are also subtle, because you will see you won't get a lot of them out. My favorite topcoat in combination with the red is the NYC's Top of the gold! It looks amazing and I love red & gold together for Christmas!

Ik wou ook graag eens met witte nagellak wat uitproberen. M'n favoriete witte nagellak is er eentje v an NYC: Blanco.  Op de eerste nagel bracht ik een topcoat van Catrice's Million Styles aan. Deze top coat herrinerde me aan sneeuwvlokjes! Ik bracht ook aan de top Essence's Hello Holo aan, omdat ik dacht dat dit een leuk effect zou geven. Maar uiteindelijk vind ik het beter zonder de Hello Holo. Tenslotte bracht ik op een tweede nagel een H&M Glitter nagellak aan! Deze ziet er ook prachtig uit vind ik!

I wanted to play around a little bit with a white nailpolish as well. My favorite white nailpolish is Blanco by NYC. On the first nail I applied a Top coat from Catrice's Million Style. This top coat reminded me off snowflakes so I thought it be perfect. I applied Essence's Hello Holo on top of the nail, because I thought it would give a nice effect. In the end I liked it better with the snowflake topcoat alone. On the second nail I applied a glitter nail polish from H&M! It think this one looks amazing as well!

Blogmas Day 2: Christmas Decorating

Blogmas Dag 2! Vandaag was ik een dagje thuis - Maar ik was druk bezig met kuisen, boodschappen doen & kerst decoratie! Daarom wou ik graag een paar foto's hiervan met jullie delen! Ik heb zo nog het gevoel dat ik nog niet volledig klaar ben met decoreren, maar toch - Lol.

Blogmas Day 2! I was home all day today - But was busy cleaning, doing groceries & decorating the house for Christmas! Therefor I really wanted to share some pictures with you guys! But I still feel like I'm not completely done decorating - Lol.

 

Ik ben echt blij hoe alles eruit ziet nu! Ik kies altijd voor de kleuren rood & goud voor kerst omdat het gewoon een klassieker is en ik hou ervan! Dit jaar wou ik ook graag een *Winter Wonderland* maken, en ik ben er helemaal verliefd op. Het was eigenlijk de bedoeling dat de ijsbeer in de pot zou komen, maar hij was een beetje te groot!

I'm really happy with the way things turned out! For colour I always go for red & gold because it's classic and I love it! But this year I wanted to create a little *Winter Wonderland*, which I'm absolutely in love with. I intented to put the polar bear in the yar at first, but he turned out a little bit too big!

Colour Editions: Red

Colour Editions is a new series I'm starting on my blog. Every month you can expect me to cover one colour and show you my favourite products in the colour. I choose to start with red because I feel you can't go wrong with red. However, I was a little bit surprised that I could only come up with 4 products, but they are 4 products I absolutely love!

 

Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple is an amazing pigmented orange-red colour.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Cherry Blossom is more of a berry red colour. This one is my absolute favourite red lipstick!

NYC Applelicious Lip Balm in Big Apple Red is a really nice lip balm that also give a subtle colour. Obviously in this case, the colour pay-off is red. I love putting this lip balm under a red lipstick.

NYC Quickdry Nailpolish in Revolving Red is my alltime favourite red nailpolish!

Colour Editions is een nieuwe serie dat ik wil starten op m'n blog. Elke maand kan je een post verwachten met één kleur als thema, hierbij toon ik dan een aantal productjes in deze kleur dat ik graag gebruik. Ik besloot om de serie te starten met rood omdat ik vind dat rood altijd leuk is en met veel samengaat. Ik was wel een beetje verrast dat ik maar 4 perfecte producten kon vinden, maar het zijn er wel vier waar ik enorm van hou!

RIMMEL | APOCALIPS LIP LACQUER

How amazing does the packaging of the apocalips look? I tried out the color Big Bang, and the pigmentation is just amazing! There is actually nothing bad I can say about this lip lacquer? They are moisturizing, easy to apply and they have a glossy finish. They cost only € 10,99 which is a decent price for such an amazing product! Definately worth trying out!

Hoe mooi ziet de apocalips lip lacquer eruit? Ik probeerde de kleur Big Bang, en de pigmentatie is echt super! Er is eigenlijk niets slecht dat ik kan zeggen over deze lip lacquer. Ze zijn moisturizing, makkelijk aan te brengen en geven een glossy finish. Ze kosten slechts € 10,99 wat een goede prijs is voor zo'n super productje! Zeker de moeite waard om uit te proberen!

 

CATRICE | ultimate colour 'it's a matt world'

I love red lipsticks just because they give a nice pop of colour and they go with alot! When Catrice came out with two matt lipsticks I just had to try the red version. This lipstick is so beautifull! I always love Catrice's packaging, they look simple yet classy. And the pigmentation from this lipstick is soo good!

 

Ik hou echt van rode lipsticks gewoon omdat ze een outfit kunnen oppeppen en ze gaan met veel samen. Wanneer Catrice met twee matte lipsticks uitkwam moest ik de rode ervan proberen. Deze is zo mooi! Ik hou ook van de verpakking van Catrice, simple maar toch klasse. De lipstick geeft ook zo'n goede kleur af!
