February ❤ Favorites!

Beetje later, maar toch wilde ik julle m'n favorieten van februari tonen. Ook vooral omdat ik er  vorige maand geen artikel over heb geschreven. Enjoy!

A little bit later, but I still wanted to share my February favorites with you. Also because last month I didn't write an article about them. Enjoy!

❤ SKINCARE

De Crème Fraîche de Beauté van Nuxe is een sample dat ik eens kreeg in m'n Deauty box. Maar wauw, wat een super moisturizer! Zoals ik al zei was dit een sample, maar hij ging eigenlijk nog heel lang mee! Voor m'n droge & toch redelijk gevoelige huid was dit echt een topper!

Een volgende skincare favoriet van deze maand was een Body butter van The Body Shop. Nu, ik denk dat het allang geweten is dat deze body butters echt super zijn, maar de geur olijven is zo'n lekkere en frisse geur!

The Crème Fraîche de Beauté from Nuxe is actually a sample I got once in my Deauty box. But wow, what an amazing moisturizer! As I said, this is a sample sized product, but it took really a long time to finish! For my dry and sensitive skin this product was really a treat!

A next skincare favorite from this month was one of The Body Shop Body Butters. I think it is already known that these body butters are simply amazing, but the scent olives has such an amazing and fresh scent!

❤ HAIR

M'n haar favorieten van februari zijn er twee van het merk Schwarzkopf uit de lijn Omega Repair. Ik gebruikte de shampoo al een tijdje, maar dan kreeg ik ook de BB Beauty Balm via Deauty. Ik heb wel last van beschadigd haar en deze shampoo en beauty balm doen m'n haar er gewoon gezonder uitzien. Pluspunt - ze ruiken ook heerlijk!

My hair favorites from February are two from the brand Schwarzkopf from the line Omega Repair. I was using the shampoo already for a while, but then I received the BB Beauty Balm from Deauty. I have damaged hair and this shampoo and beauty balm make my hair look much healthier. Bonus point - they smell amazing!

❤ MAKE-UP

Toen ik een maand geleden besloot dat het tijd was om eens een nieuwe BB cream of CC cream te kopen, koos ik er deze 123 Perfect CC Cream van Bourjois uit. Hij past zich mooi aan, aan m'n huid en waarom hij vooral een plaatsje tussen m'n favorieten verdient: ik krijg er geen droge plekken van op het einde van de dag!

Ik wist al voordat ik het bronzing duo van Jelly Pong Pong cosmetics de eerste keer gebruikte, dat ik hem super ging vinden. De kleuren en pigmentatie zijn gewoon prachtig! Wat ik iets minder vind, is dat hij zo klein is! Dit is trouwens de kleur Martinique.

When I decided about a month ago that it was time to get a new BB cream or CC cream, I choose this 123 Perfect CC cream by Bourjois. It adjusts perfectly to the skin and why this one deserves a place between my favorites the most: it doesn't give my dry spots by the end of the day!

I already knew I was going to love the bronzing duo by Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics before I tried it. The colors and pigmentation are just amazing! What I dislike a little bit is that the product is so small! This is the color Martinique by the way.

Ik wissel graag dagelijks lipproducten, maar deze drie heb ik de voorbije maand toch het meeste gebruikt. Om te gaan werken doe ik het liefst kleurtjes aan, die niet zozeer opvallend zijn, maar juist mooie naturelle kleuren zijn. Hierbij, de drie favorieten: E.l.f. Lip Balm Tint in Grapefruit, Cien lipstick in 27 Natural Kiss en 36 Matt Rose.

I love to switch the lipproducts I use daily, but these three are the ones I have been using the most last month. To go to work I prefer wearing colors that aren't really those pops of colors, but more pretty natural colors. So my three favorites:  E.l.f. Lip Balm Tint in Grapefruit, Cien lipstick in 27 Natural Kiss en 36 Matt Rose.

❤ NAILS

Om m'n favorieten af te sluiten, nog drie leuke nagellakjes! Essie 'Muchi, Muchi' is zo'n schattige lichtroze tint, hij is mooi, naturelle en gewoon so damn cute! Cien 'Pastel Green' vind ik zo'n interessante kleur. Het is een kleur die ik normaal niet meteen zo kopen, maar hij sprong er het meeste uit van de andere kleurtjes van Cien. Revlon '190 Spanish Moss' is dan weer een prachtige kaki kleur. Echt, ik denk dat Revlon één van m'n favoriete merken qua nagellak aan het worden is!

To finish of my favorites, three cute nailpolishes! Essie 'Muchi, Muchi' is such an adorable light pink color, it's pretty, natural and just so damn cute! Cien 'Pastel Green' I find such an interesting color. This is the color I wouldn't normally buy, but between the other colors from Cien, this one just stood out. Revlon '190 Spanish Moss' is a gorgeous kaki color. Really, I think Revlon is becoming one of my favorite brands if it comes to nailpolish!

Deauty February + Life Update!

Deze week kreeg ik m'n Deauty box van Februari. Om heel eerlijk te zijn weet ik niet zo goed wat ik ervan moet vinden. De laatste maanden heb ik m'n Birchboxen altijd liever ontvangen dan m'n Deauty boxen. Ik ben er dan ook sterk over aan het nadenken om M'n Deauty abonnement gewoon stop te zetten, maar ik weet het nog niet 100% goed. Maar goed, deze maand is de Deauty box helemaal in teken van 'Crazy nights', maar ook de morgend die erop volgt!

This week I received my February Deauty box. To be very honest, I'm not sure what to really think about it. The last couple of months I preferred my Birchboxes above my Deauty boxes. Therefor I'm really thinking about stopping my Deauty box, but I'm not 100% sure yet. But anyways, this month the Deauty box is all about 'Crazy nights', but also the mornings that follow those kind of nights!

OPTICALMAX 'GOUTTES BLEUES' - FULL SIZE € 9,99

Het eerste product is meteen eentje dat niet zo m'n ding is. Deze ooglotion zou je ogen ontspannen en laten schitteren, bovendien verzacht hij roodheid. De reden waarom dit niet m'n ding is, is omdat ik het haat om druppels of wat dan ook op m'n ogen te doen! Maar toch is dit product heel populair in Frankrijk!

The first product is one that isn't really my cup of tea. This eye lotion should relax your eyes and make them shine, and it softens redness. The reason why I'm not really into this one, is because I hate to put drops or anything like that in my eyes! But still this product is very popular in France!

NUXE ' NUXELLENCE DETOX' - 15ML (FULL SIZE: € 49,90)

Het volgende product apprecieer ik dan wel weer enorm! Ik ben momenteel 2 crèmes van Nuxe aan het uit proberen, en so far so good! Deze nachtverzorging ontgift de huid zodat deze weer helemaal energiek word! Ik weet dat 'anti-aging' een beetje scary klinkt, maar eerlijk gezegd klinkt dit wel als een fijn product dat ik zeker eens wil proberen.

The next product is one I like alot! I am currently trying out 2 creams by Nuxe and so far so good! This night skin care detoxes the skin so it can get energetic again! I know 'anti-aging' sounds a bit scary, but honestly, to me this products sound like a nice one that I would love to try out.

SHISEIDO 'LACQUER ROUGE' - 2ML (FULL SIZE: 6ML - € 26)

Waarom oh waarom zitten er altijd rode lipsticks/lipglosses in beauty boxen? Ik hou wel eens van een rood kleurtje, maar het is niet iets waar ik maar al te snel naar grijp. Het is ook zo'n klein flesje dat ik bang ben dat ik het in m'n stash niet meer ga terug vinden. Dit gezegd zijnde, het is wel een mooie, warme rode kleur en fijn om een lipgloss van een duurder merk zo te kunnen proberen.

Why oh why are there always red lipsticks/lipglosses in beauty boxes? I like a red color every now and then, but it is not a color I would reach for quickly. It also comes in a tiny bottle, I'm scared I will never find it again in my stash. This being said, it is a pretty, warm red color and I find it nice to try a lipgloss from a more expensive brand. 

SO SUSAN 'WONDERLIGHT' - FULL SIZE € 15,66

Hoe gorgeous is de verpakking van deze '2-in-1 stick'? Aan de ene kant krijg crémige corrector voor onder de ogen en aan de andere kant een mooie primer om je look er uitgerust uit te laten zien met een mooie subtiele glans. 

How gorgeous is the packaging of this '2-in-1 stick'? One side gives you a creamy corrector for under the eyes and the others side is a gorgeous primer to give you a nice look with a subtle glow.

GILETTE VENUS 'SNAP WITH EMBRACE' - FULL SIZE € 14,99

Tenslotte kreeg ik nog een vijfde product. Dit was er eentje wat je zelf kon kiezen! M'n keuze was snel gemaakt tussen twee haarproducten en dit schattige scheermesje. Als je me al even volgt weet je namelijk dat ik het niet zo heb met haaproducten. Bovendien is dit mesje super handig om bv. mee op reis te nemen!

And I received also a fifth product, one you could choose yourself! My choice was made quickly between two hair products and this cute razor. If you follow me for a while you already now I'm not really into hair products. And this razor will come in handy if you're going on holidays!

LIFE UPDATE!

Aan de titel kon je al zien dat ik niet alleen m'n Deauty box ging tonen, maar ook een life update zou geven. M'n blog staat de laatste weken op een lager pitje, en dat gaat waarschijnlijk nog even zo zijn. Dit omdat m'n vriend en ik gaan verhuizen! Je kan me wel nog steeds volgen via Instagram, hier probeer ik regelmatig foto's te posten!

The title already said it a little bit, I wasn't only going to show my Deauty box today, but also give you a life update. I haven't been posting a lot on my blog the last couple of weeks, and I don't think it will change the next month. This because my boyfriend and I are moving house! Deauty for Iu box: March 2014!

Elk maand opnieuw is het een klein feestje om de Deauty box te openen. Ik vind het echt super om telkens voor een verrassing te staan! Voor de box van deze maand werd er al aangekondigd dat het een samenwerking ging zijn met Iu. Iu (uitgespoken als 'you') is een Belgische winkelketen dat gespecialiseerd is in parafarmaceutische producten. Binnen vier categoriën (Beauty, bath & Body, Baby en Vitality) bieden ze een ruim aanbod aan leuke producten!

Every month it is a little party when I get to open my Deauty box. I really love to be surprised every time! Deauty already announced that they will be working together with Iu for this month's box. Iu (pronounced as 'you') is a Belgian shop chain that is specialised in pharmaceutical products. Within four categories (Beauty, Bath & Body, Baby and Vitality) they offer a wide variety of nice products!

Qua verpakking was het een gewone box zoals je altijd krijgt, maar er zit wel een 'band' rond de box dat aangeeft dat het om de Deauty for Iu gaat! Wat nieuws was is het Deauty magazine! Een klein boekje met wat uitleg over Iu, de samenwerking met Deauty en de verschillende producten dat je kan terugvinden in de box. 

Looking at the packaging, it is the same box as usual, but they added a 'band of paper' around the box that announces it is the Deauty for Iu box! A new thing is the Deauty magazine! A small book that gives more information about Iu, the cooperation with Deauty and the different products you could find in the box.

 1. Garancia 'Pschitt Magique' - 15ml (Full Size: 100ml - € 33,00)

 

Als je enkel de naam ziet van dit product denk je waarschijnlijk - What the hell is dit? - maar het is dus een nieuw soort micropeeling. Met 'nieuwe soort' bedoelen ze dat hij geen korreltjes heeft, zeepvrij is en bovendien slechts 30 seconden nodig heeft om je huidstructuur te verfijnen! Say whut? Dit moet ik echt uitproberen! Hij zou ook geschikt moeten zijn voor de gevoelige huid (omdat hij korrelvrij is), dus daarom is hij ook het proberen waard! Ik moest hem dan ook meteen eens testen op m'n hand. Hij komt uit z'n flacon als een schuim en heeft echt een lekkere geur!

If you only read the name of this product you probably think - What the hell is this? - but this is actually a new kind of micro peeling. With 'new kind' they mean that it does not contain bigger particles, it is soap free and on top of that it only needs 30 seconds to refine your skin structure! Say whut? This I have to try out! It should also be suitable for the sensitive skin, so that is also another reason why I should try it out! So I just had tot test it out on my hand! The product comes out as a foam and has such a nice scent!

2. Nuxe 'Nirvanesque Crème Fraîche de Beauté' - 15ml (Full Size: 30ml - € 18,15)

Nog een product dat eigenlijk perfect is voor mijn huid! Deze moisturizer is perfect voor een huid dat nood heeft aan water en rust. Check! Qua textuur heeft hij een zachte slagroomtextuur. Hij voelt ook fijn aan en ook dit product heeft een lekkere geur!

Another product that is perfect for my skin! This moisturizer is perfect for the skin that needs water and rest. Check! Looking at the texture, it has a soft whipped cream texture. It also feels really nice and this product also has a yummy scent!

3. René Furterer 'Carthame hair masque' - 30ml (Full Size: 100ml - € 17,25)

Als het op m'n haar aankomt, ben ik eigenlijk echt lui. Gewoon shampoo, m'n Kérastase Stimuliste en heel soms een conditioner. (Shame on me, ik weet het), hoord tot m'n haarroutine. Daarom ben ik niet zo zeker dat ik dit product ga gebruiken... Ook al wil ik het wel. Maar bon, dit haarmasker is goed voor droog haar!

If it comes down to my hair, I have to admit I'm kind of lazy. Just a shampoo, my Kérastase Stimuliste and sometimes a conditioner (Shame on me, I know) fits in my hair routine. That is also why I'm not sure if I will try out this product... Even though I want to. But anyways, this hair masque is good for dry hair!

4. Filorga 'Optim-Eyes' - 3ml (Full Size: 15ml - € 36,25)

Dit sample sized product is ook meer dan welkom! Een oogverzorgings-créme dat perfect is voor donkere cirkels, rimpels en wallen. Perfect voor mij dus! Het is enkel jammer dat het zo'n kleine sample is!

This sample sized product is also more than welcome! An eye cream that is perfect for dark circles, wrinkles and puffiness. So perfect for me! It's only a shame it is such a small sample!

5. Eucerin 'Aquaphor Wound Care Ointment' 4gr - (Full Size: 40gr - € 8,65)

In het verleden was ik al enorm tevreden over Eucerin's producten. Dit product kan je gebruiken op zeer droge, ruwe, gebarsten of geïrriteerde plekjes. Voor één keer vind ik het niet erg dat dit zo'n kleine tube is - Handbag proved! 

In the past I have been really happy about Eucerin's products. This product can be used on very dry, rough, cracked or irritated skin. For once I don't mind that is a small sample - Handbag proved!

6.  Mavala 'Oil Seal Dryer' - 5ml (Full Size: 10ml - € 11,70)

Je lakt je nagels, laat dit een paar seconde drogen en breng onmiddellijk deze olie erover aan, even laten inwerken et voilà je nagels zijn droog! Lijk met het perfecte product eerlijk gezegd!

You're painting your nails, let them dry a couple of seconds and immediately apply this oil on top, let it work in a little bit and your nails are dry! Seems like the perfect product to be honest!

7.  T. LeClerc 'Volumizing mascara in Violine' - Full Size: € 20,00

Tussen alle samples van huidsverzoringingsproducten toch nog een make-up product! En hij is full size! Ik vind de verpakking van T. Leclerc om de één of andere reden altijd wat minder. Maar deze amscara heeft een prachtige aubergine kleur (Jammer genoeg is dit niet zo duidelijk op de foto). Ik kan niet wachten om hem uit te testen!

Between all the sample sized skincare products, finally a make-up product! And it is full size! For some reason I never really liked the packaging from T.Leclerc. However this mascara has a gorgeous purple color (Unfortunately it does not show off good on picture). But I cannot wait to try this one out!

8. JYB 'Have a good day daycream': 2ml (Full Size: 50ml - € 36,00) & 'You're so sweet' body milk: 5ml (Full Size: 150ml - € 31,50)

Echt veel heb ik hierover niet te zeggen. Schattige namen, leuk logo, biologisch, sowieso het proberen waard!

I don't have much to say about this. Cute names, awesome logo, organic, it is worth trying out!

9. Guam 'Fangocrema notte' - 15ml (Full Size: 500ml - € 42,20) & 'Fangocrema giorno' - 8ml (Full Size: 200ml - € 27,20)

Notte is de nachtcrème voor je lichaam! Eerlijk gezegd, nooit gehoord van een nachtcrème voor het lichaam. Hij zou je lichaam shapen door kleine bultjes  en cellulitis te reduceren.

Giorno is een dagelijkse crème voor het lichaam. Hij zou een verstevigend en afslankend effect hebben op je lichaam.

Notte is a nightcream for your body! To be honest, I had never heard of a nightcream for your body before. It is supposed to shape your body by reducing little bumps and cellulite.

Giorno is a daily cream for the body. It is supposed to have a firming and slimming effect on your body.

 
10. Guam 'Fanghi d'alga' - 75ml (Full Size: 500gr - € 35,00)

 

Dit product zou goed zijn tegen cellulitis. Het is de bedoeling dat je hem aanbrengt op de 'probleem area's', 'jezelf inpakt' met folie en na 45minuten afspoelen met water. 

This product is also supposed to be good against cellulite. You have to apply the product on the 'problem areas', wrap the areas with cling-film and rinse it off after 45 minutes.

♥ EINDRESULTAAT ♥

Ik was verrast dat er zoveel producten in de box zaten. Het zijn wel, op één na, allemaal sample sizes. Meestal heb ik het niet zo met de sample sized producten, niet enkel omdat je er geen goed beeld over kan krijgen, maar ook het product zelf sprak me meestal niet aan. Deze keer spreken de meeste samples me toch aan.

I was really surprised that there were that many products in the box. However, all of them, except one, are sample sized. Most times I do not like the sample sized products, not only because you cannot form a good conclusion of them, but also the product itself did not appeal to me. This time I do like most of the samples.

Deauty: October 2013

Deauty's oktober box was -opnieuw- een thema box. Maar in tegenstelling tot de september apothecary box, vind ik deze wel enorm leuk! Het thema was vitality deze maand, wat wil zeggen dat alle producten in deze box je beauty een boost moet geven, zodat je klaar bent voor de koude herfst- en winterdagen!

Deauty's October box was a themed box -again-, but unlike the September apothecary box, I'm actually really loving this month's one! The theme this month is vitality, which basically means that all the products in the box are supposed to give your beauty a boost, so you are ready for all those cold autumn and winter days!

 Paul Mitchell's Lemon Sage energizing body lotion - Ik was zo blij toen ik een Paul Mitchell product in de box zag. Ik had de naam al vaak horen vallen en wou echt eens een product ervan uitproberen. Toen ik zag dat het een body lotion was, was ik eerlijk gezegd iets minder enthousiast, omdat ik liever body butters gebruik. Maar!! Deze bodylotion is echt S-U-P-E-R! Hij doet je huid zacht en gehydrateerd aanvoelen. Ik vind ook verrassend genoeg de citroen geur fantastisch, hij ruikt fris en maakt je meteen wakker 's morgens!

Ducray Extra-gentle dermo-protective shampoo for delicate hair - Ik dacht datdeze shampoo perfect voor mij zou zijn, omdat ik breekbaar haar heb enzo. Ik vind ook vele dingen super aan deze shampoo: hij reukt lekker, hij schuimt goed en hij doet je haar er mooi uitzien. Het enige probleem dat ik heb met deze shampoo is dat hij zoveel knopen naliet, en hierdoor wil hem eigenlijk niet meer gebruiken.

Plante System Eye Contour Gel - Ik hou van mijn Plante System Moisturizer dat ik vorige maand kreeg, daarom was ik meteen enthousiast over dit product. Het is de eerste keer dat ik een gel gebruik, maar hij voelt zo goed aan onder de ogen. Hij is ook geurloos zodat mensen met een gevoelige huid hem zeker kunnen gebruiken.

Jeanne en Provense Showergel with Peach & Apricot - Dit is eigenlijk het enige product dat ik nog niet heb uitgeprobeerd van deze box. Ik hou van de perzikken & abrikozen geur, maar ik vind dit meer een geur voor de zomer.

Nuxe anti-fatigue moisturizing cream  for normal to combination skin - Ik wou dat ik kon zeggen dat ik van dit product hou, maar dat kan ik niet. Vooral omdat hij niet geschikt is voor mijn huidtype. Wat ik wel super vind aan deze moisturizer is dat hij zo'n rijke structuur heeft. Dus ik denk dat als ik hem voor mijn huidtype aanschaf, hij wel perfect zou zijn!

Paul Mitchell's Lemon Sage energizing body lotion - I was so excited to see a Paul Mitchell product. I had been hearing the name a lot and wanted to try out on of the brand's products. But when I saw it was actually a body lotion, I was a little bit dissapointed, simply because I prefer body butters. However!! This bodylotion is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It makes your skin feel so soft and moisturized. I'm also suprisingly loving the lemon scent, since it is so fresh and wakes you up instantly!

Ducray Extra-gentle dermo-protective shampoo for delicate hair - I thought this shampoo would be perfect for me, since I do have delicate hair. And I do like everything about it: the scent, the way it latters up, it cleans my hair perfectly. The only thing I don't like is that it led so many knots in my hair, which makes me not want to use this shampoo again.

Plante System Eye Contour Gel - I love my Plante System Moisturizer I got last month, therefor I was really excited for this product. It is the first time I'm using a gel, but it feels amazing under the eyes. It is also fragrance free, which makes it better if you have sensitive skin.

Jeanne en Provense Showergel with Peach & Apricot - This is actually the only product I haven't tried out yet from this month's box. I absolutely love the scent of peaches & apricots, but for me it is more a summer scent.

Nuxe anti-fatigue moisturizing cream  for normal to combination skin - I wish I could say I love this product, but I don't. And that is mostly because it is not for my skin type. I do love the fact it is such a rich cream. So I think if I get this product for sensitive skin it would be perfect for me!
