NYC ❤ Cityproof Twistable Intense Lip Color!

De cityproof twistable lip colors zijn al een tijdje in het assortiment van NYC cosmetics. Omdat ik wat nieuwe herfstkleurtjes nodig had, koos ik er twee uit. 

The cityproof twistable lip colors have been in NYC Cosmetics' collection for a while now. Because I wanted a few new Autumn colors, I choose two out of it.

L-R: 052 Roosevelt Island Red & 031 Gramercy Park Plum

De lip colors komen in de vorm van grote potloden & for real 'chubby stick-a-likes' zijn eigenlijk mijn favoriet! Ik vind ze makkelijk aan te brengen en er leuk uitzien! Zoals ik al zei koos ik er twee kleuren uit. 052 Rooseveld Island Red is een warme rode kleur, eigenlijk is het zo'n rode kleur dat je een gans jaar door kan dragen. 031 Gramercy Park Plum is dan weer een mooi berrykleurtje.

The lip color come in the shape of big pencils & for real 'chubby stick-a-likes' are my favorite! I think they are easy to apply and look cute! As I already said I choose two colors. 052 Rooseveld Island Red is a warm red color, it is actually that kind of red you could wear the whole year. 031 Gramercy Park Plum is a gorgeous berry color.

De potloden zijn mooi gepigmenteerd, al moet ik wel erbij zeggen dat de kleuren wat minder donker uitkomen, dan dat je zou denken. Niettemin zijn het nog steeds mooie kleurtjes!

The pencils are well pigmented, although I do have to say that the colors come out a little bit lighter than you would then. Nevertheless they are still gorgeous!

Lush ⚜ Sparkler Bath Bomb!

Zo, meteen na m'n Lush shoplog heb ik een artikel over de eerste 'Bath Bomb' klaar - De Sparkler! Ik dacht dat het moeilijk ging worden om een keuze te maken in welke ik het eerste zou proberen. Maar eigenlijk was men keuze snel gemaakt. Sparkler is één van de nieuwe items in de collectie en hij was ook kapot gegaan in het zakje, zodus.

Right after my Lush shoplog I have an article ready on the first 'Bath Bomb' - The Sparkler! I thought choosing which one to use first would be a hard decision. But it was actually a very easy one. Sparkler is one of the newer items in the collection, and it had also broke in the bag, so yeah.

De Sparkler behoord tot de bruisballen, maar hij ziet er niet uit zoals de typische bruisballen. Hij ziet eruit als een lange gele staaf. Omdat de mijne gebroken was, kon ik wel eens kijken hoe hij er langs binnen uitzag. Hij heeft een dikke gele laag langs buiten, maar vanbinnen ziet hij er oranje uit en zie je meteen ook gouden glitters.

Voor de liefhebbers van de Rose Jam douchegel & Rose Jam Bubbleroon heb ik goed nieuws want deze Sparkler heeft net dezelfde geur! Voor diegene die deze geur nog niet kennen, hij heeft de geur van rozen met een zoet accent. Een heel lekkere en zachte geur vind ik!

The Sparkler is a bath bomb, but it doesn't look like a regular bath bomb. It looks like a long yellow bar. Because mine was broken, it gave me the chance to see how it looks on the inside. It has a thick yellow layer on the outside, but on the inside you see that it is orange and has golden glitters.

For the fans of the Rose Jam shower gel & Rose Jam Bubbleroon I have some good news, because the Sparkler has the same scent! For the ones that don't know this scent yet, it smells like roses with a sweet accent! A really nice and soft scent!

Hier zijn een paar foto's van was de Sparkler nu juist doet in het water. Hij geeft het water een geel-oranje kleur en je krijgt er ook een beetje bubbels bij. Leuk! Volgens Lush zou deze bath bomb een 'spectaculair effect' geven, ik denk dat ze het dan over de bubbels hebben, of ben ik mis en is het effect zo aan me voorbijgegaan?

Here are a couple of picture of what the Sparkler really does in the water. It gives the water a yellow-orange color and you get a little bit of bubbles. Fun! According to Lush, the bath bomb should give a 'spectacular effect', I think they are talking about the bubbles, or am I wrong and I missed the effect?

&& Heel veel gouden glitters! Ik kon het wel al wat verwachten, omdat ik langs binnen al zag dat er wat glitters inzaten, maar zoveel had ik niet verwacht! 

&& Alot of golden glitters! I could have expected it, because I could see some glitters on the inside, but I didn't expect this much!

Een tweetal weken geleden was ik met men vriend op de Meir in Antwerpen. Natuurlijk moest ik in één van men favoriete winkels, Lush, eens binnengaan. Zeker nadat ik hoorde dat ze juist hun Kerst/winter & Halloween goodies binnenhadden!

Two weeks ago I was on the Meir in Antwerp with my boyfriend. Ofcourse I had to make a visit at one of my favorite shops, Lush. Especially since I heard they had just received their Christmas/winter & Halloween goodies! I filmed a Youtube video which is in Dutch, sorry to the reader from other countries!

Catrice ❤ Absolute Matt Eyeshadow Palette!

Je kent misschien wel het *Absolute Nude Palette* van Catrice. Welnu, heb je een Kruidvat in de buurt dat een groter schap heeft, dan kan je nu ook dit matt palette verkrijgen! Terwijl het nude palette enkel shimmer oogschaduws heeft, heeft dit matt palette enkel matte kleuren! Ik vergelijk deze twee wat met elkaar omdat ik vind dat deze matte variant toch ook wel een nude kleurenpalette heeft.

You might know the *Absolute Nude Palette* from Catrice. Well, if you have a Kruidvat in the neighbourhood with a larger display, then you can get this matt palette!Where the nude palette only has shimmer eyeshadows, this matt palette has only matte colors! I compare these two palette because I find this matte one to also have nude colors.

Ik gebruik graag matte kleuren om men oogschaduw mee te blenden en aan te brengen in de crease. En eigenlijk is het niet zo makkelijk om matte oogschaduws te vinden die nog eens makkelijk te blenden zijn. Hiervoor is dit matt palette weer een goede budgettopper! Ik ben ook erg blij met de kleuren: je krijgt twee highlighter kleurtjes en vier bruine en taupe tinten.

I love using matte colors to blend out my eyeshadow and to apply in the crease of my eye. And actually, it is not that easy to find matte eyeshadows that are also easy to blend. Therefor is this matt palette an amazing buy! I'm also very happy with the colors: you get two highlighter colors and four brown to grey tones.

Zoals je ziet is de pigmentatie ook super! Ja, ik ben echt enorm blij met deze uitbreiding aan Catrice's oogschaduw palettes!

As you can see, the pigmentation is also amazing! Yes, I am very happy with the extension of Catrice's eyeshadow palettes!

My favorite nailpolishes for Autumn!

Vier dagen geleden was m'n laatste blogpost, en het voelt als veel langer! Ik heb het echt gemist... Maar heb juist een drukke week achter de rug en dan nog eens m'n elleboog op een lompe manier pijn gedaan, waar ik nu een week later nog altijd last van heb. Maar goed, het zijn geen excuses, maar hierdoor kwam het bloggen er niet echt van. I've got some catching up to do, dus!

In het artikel van vandaag toon ik jullie een aantal van mijn favoriete nagellakken voor de herfst!

Four days ago I posted my last article, and it feels like it has been for so much longer! I have missed it for real... But I just had a really busy week and I also hurt my elbow in the most clumsiest way, it is a week later now and I still feel it. But anyways, I am not making up excuses, but because of this I didn't make time to blog. So I've got some catching up to do!

In the article I post today I'm sharing a couple of my favorite nailpolishes for Autumn!

❤ THE PURPLES!
 

Vorig jaar kwam ik erachter dat paarse nagellak echt zo mooi kan zijn. Ik ben vooral fan van de donkere paarse. 

➳ NYC 340 All of the lights is een mooie donker paarse kleur met wat glittertjes in verwerkt. Echt mooi! 

➳ China Glaze Charmed I'm Sure is m'n eerste China Glaze nagellak en meteen een hele leuke! Ik kan hem het beste omschrijven als 'vuil paars'.

➳ Essie Smokin Hot is één van m'n laatste nieuwe nagellakjes en ik ben al zeker dat ik hem veel ga dragen! hij gaat meer naar de taupe paarsige kant toe.

Last year I found out that purple nailpolish can look so good. I'm mostly fan of the darker purple colors.

➳ NYC 340 All of the lights is a beautiful dark purple colors with glitters. Really pretty!

➳ China Glaze Charmed I'm Sure is my first China Glaze nailpolish and it is a good one! I can best describe this color as 'dirty purple'.

➳ Essie Smokin Hot is one of my newest nailpolishes but I'm already sure I will wear it alot! This color is more a taupe purple color.

❤ THE BLUES

Een andere favoriete kleur van mij is blauw. Eerlijk gezegd kon ik er hier nog veel meer van tonen, maar dat zou wat teveel geworden zijn. Ik heb mijn keuze dus beperkt tot deze drie!

➳ Essie Style Cartel is ook één van mijn nieuwere nagellakken. Maar het is gewoon zo'n mooie diepblauwe kleur dat ik zeker weet dat ik deze veel ga gebruiken.

➳ Sally Hansen Resurrection vind ik meer een grijsblauwe kleur, maar kan perfect voor de herfst.

➳ Essence 180 It's raining men. Gewoon een mooie blauwe kleur met glitters!

Another favorite color of mine is blue. To be honest, I could show way more favorite blues, but that would be too much. So I limited my choice to three.

➳ Essie Style Cartel is another new nailpolish. But is such a gorgeous deep blue color that I'm sure I will wear it alot.

➳ Sally Hansen Resurrection is more of a grey blue color, but still is perfect for Autumn.

➳ Essence 180 It's raining men. Simply a beautiful blue color with glitters!

❤ METALS & GREENS

En dan heb je nog zo'n paar kleuren die gewoon goed zijn. 

➳ Bourjois 41 God save the green. Ik heb hem nog maar juist maar ben er al meteen verliefd op. Dit is gewoon de perfecte groene kleur voor mij.

➳ Catrice 860 Browno Mars, leuke naam niet? Het is een bronzen metaal kleurtje, en ik vind hem persoonlijk ook mooier dan een gouden of zilveren kleur.

➳ Bourjois 29 Monsters Blood, vind ik een interessante kleur. Hij lijkt zwart, maar als je goed kijkt heeft hij meer weg van een donkere kaki kleur met gouden glitters er subtiel doorheen. Prachtig!

And then you have a few other colors that are just amazing.

➳ Bourjois 41 God save the green. I recently bought it and fell in love with it instantly. This is the perfect green color for me.

➳ Catrice 860 Browno Mars, nice name or not? It is a bronze metal color, and I personally like it more than a golden or silver color.

➳ Bourjois 29 Monsters Blood, is an interesting color. It looks black, but if you look better it is more a dark kaki color mixed with subtle gold glitters. Gorgeous!
