Een paar weken geleden was ik in Kruidvat en besloot om eindelijk eens wat Bourjois lipsticks te kopen. Ik zag deze twee kleuren en omdat ze toch zo goed op elkaar lijken, wou ik ze graag vergelijken. Binnen de Shine collectie koos ik voor de kleur 25 Mauve Tabloïd en binnen de Rouge Edition de kleur 18 Violine Strass.
Bourjois' Shine lipsticks hebben een zilveren *Shiny* verpakking met muntkleurige letters (de kleur van de letters verandert naarmate de lipstick kleur), hiertegenover hebben de Rouge Edition lipsticks een zwarte verpakking met rode & hot pink letters. Ik vind beide verpakking er leuk uitzien, en waar ik ook van hou is dat je de kleur van de lipstick aan de onderkant al kan zien.
Als je naar de lipstick zelf kijkt zit er ook een verschil in beiden. Namelijk de Shine is schuin 'afgesneden' en de Rouge Edition heeft meer een 'angle' - Als je snapt wat ik bedoel.
Beide lipstick kleuren hebben een prachtige donkere bessenkleur en bevatten kleine glitters, maar deze vallen eigenlijk niet zo enorm op als je ze aanbrengt - Ze zien er gewoon alletwee prachtig uit!
Ik vind persoonlijk dat de Shine lipstick wel wat meer vochtaanbrengend aanvoelt, terwijl de Rouge Edition wat 'dikker' aanvoelt.
De Shine lipsticks hebben eigenlijk als bedoelijk om vooral shine te geven en minder kleur (de kleur ziet er ook donkerder uit zo, als je hem aanbrengt gij hij meer een oudroze kleur af), terwijl de Rouge Edition lipsticks echt mooi opaque van kleur zijn.
Ik vind ze echt alletwee super, maar de Shine lipstick toch net iets meer. Ik vind persoonlijk dat de Shine lipstick de perfecte everyday kleur is en de Rouge Edition is een perfecte avondkleur. Allebei voelen ze super aan en probeer ze zeker eens uit!
Bourjois' Shine lipsticks have a silver *shiny* packaging and mint coloured lettering (the colour of the lettering changes with different shades) whereas the lipsticks from the Rouge Edition have a black packaging with red & hot pink lettering. But both packagings look nice to me, what I also love a lot is that you can see the colour of the lipstick on the bottom of them.
When looking at the lipstick itself the Shine one is flat shaped and the one from the Rouge Edition is more angled - If you know what I'm talking about.
Both lipstick colours I choose are plum colours and contain little sparkles, although you don't really notice them when you apply the lipstick - They both just look amazing when put on!
In my opinion is the Shine one a little bit more moisturizing and the Rouge Edition feels like it has a 'thicker' structure.
The shine lipsticks are supposed to give you more a shine rather than a colour (also the colour looks darker in the packaging, when you apply it, it gives more of an old rose colour), whereas the Rouge Edition lipsticks have nice opaque colours.
Overall I love both of them. However the Shine one a little bit more. I also feel like the Shine one is more an everyday colour and the Rouge Edition is more an evening lipstick for me! But both are absolutely amazing lipstick that you should try out!
